This review was rejected by Amazon, so I sanitized it as follows:
"She weaves the very timely issue of internet harassment and revenge postings into a mystery that details just what the consequences of those crimes can be." Got to keep the Amazon watchers happy. Forget about freedom of speech and what the book was really about.

ElectricOutcast (electicoutcast) | 641 comments Finally finished The Chaos Kind The Chaos Kind (John Rain, #11, Livia Lone, #3.5) by Barry Eisler

I like the characters and the plot but it had too many chapters. I know some people read books in short bursts, but if you're going to keep making short chapters it's kind of hard for people to keep their attention to the story.

Nora Roberts spoils us with her ability to find the balance between long and short chapters, and we do not deserve her.

message 345: by Anita (new)

Anita (anitanodiva) | 1134 comments I agree with you, Seth. Short chapters tend to make a book feel really choppy. You get into the flow and it stops dead a lot of times.
