Jimmie | 302 comments I wanted to remind the group about an ebook deal by Robert Swartwood, the author of the Holly Lin thriller No Shelter. This group read No Limits a few years ago. The sale is a three Holly Lin set that contains No Shelter, The Devil You Know and Hollow Point for $.99. The deal is on Nook, so aim sure this deal is also with Amazon Kindle.

Don't wear contacts but my eyes can't get any greener. As a matter of fact ran into a person I haven't seen in 30+ years knew me right away b/c of my eyes, probably would of known him too if he didn't get rid of his mustache LOL also born in Texas.

Actually I think of Frazier's wife Lilith but then again didn't they call her Satan when they divorced.

Brian Benson (bknight47) | 343 comments Jimmie wrote: "Brian, do you prefer first person to person reading and which format do you prefer as an author?"

I Like Writing In The 1st Person. I'm Pretty Much Character Driven, So When I'm Reading It Doesn't Matter A Whole Lot...

Brian Benson (bknight47) | 343 comments Hey Stephanie: Please Do Me A Favor And Take My Book Down For The Rest Of This Month...with The Exception Of 4 Or 5 Folks This Group Is Dead. Brian Benson (bknight47) | 343 comments Hey Gang Still Available If Anyone Has Questions or Wants To Chat...

message 88: by Jimmie (new)

Jimmie | 302 comments Brian, I’m sorry for the downturn in activity with this group. This group has a history of well engaging book discussions. But the past year has seen a significant decrease in activity. I hope the trend turns back in a positive direction.

message 89: by Brian (new)

Brian Benson (bknight47) | 343 comments You Jimmy, Chris, Dave, Thomas, and Tristan are basically the only ones I've heard from all month. I know Stephanie is busy with LE stuff. I'm thinking of opening up a separate site that also has a chat room. There messages can be sent and events scheduled. I'll send out invites once it moves forward. Thank you folks for being such loyal supporters...:)

message 90: by Tristan (new)

Tristan Hutchinson | 22 comments sounds like a good idea Brian.

message 91: by Chris (new)

Chris | 732 comments Brian I am sorry that we couldn't discuss the book. Idk what is wrong. I will be really honest I haven't been in many discussions lately for the lame reason just don't feel like reading any type of book but when I see that you had another book out the previous 2 books that I read with Dulac were very interesting. My opinion is that people just join groups for the sake of joining and at 1 time I did the same but I cancelled most of the groups I once belonged to and just have a handful left now b/c I can't participate in all and it not right for the people that actually participate in them. I also have about 12 invites to different groups. This group is like a home to me. I consider Ruth, Stephanie and Jimmie as friends even though they are just cyber friends.

message 92: by Brian (new)

Brian Benson (bknight47) | 343 comments I consider you folks as friends too, not just customers. I never started writing to sell books. I have more fun discussing stuff...

message 93: by Brian (new)

Brian Benson (bknight47) | 343 comments I can't believe there was not more action with August Snow...That book was amazing I thought. Same 5 or 6 people participating, that was it...

message 94: by Chris (last edited Feb 09, 2021 06:31PM) (new)

Chris | 732 comments I'm old school rather hold and book and read. I download books and unless I download directly from the site I can't find them on my kindle/nook b/c even after a search they don't show up. Yours did though and I totally enjoyed it as I did the Cobb books. As I said in my previous post ppl just join groups the sake of joining them. If I participated in every group with group reads (even though I do read several books at a time) i would never have time to do anything else. I really think that this books would of had more participation. I was waiting for Ruth and Stephanie to start on who they could see playing each person. Brian I am so sorry that the thread didn't got far.

message 95: by Brian (new)

Brian Benson (bknight47) | 343 comments Not to worry Ruth I'm thinking about starting a new group with all you folks and more it's in the works. Who is Dylan? Or did you mean Dulac?...lol
