The Broncos are not sitting well this year...Phillip Lindsay is gone, and Von Miller has baby-momma-drama...That sums up the group..

Good Morning, It was a day of sorrow, AGAIN....it seems that Colorado is the Wild,Wild, West all over again. 30 minutes is what it takes from my house to Boulder. Boulder is a college town, with nice expensive homes. Yesterday, at a King Soopers store ( Kroger ) a man started shooting in the parking lot, then headed into the grocery store shooting. We thought 6 had died, but 4 additional died in the hospital. One of the dead is a Police Officer. There will be a news conference in about 30 minutes. Colorado seems to be getting famous of all these mass shootings. The shooter was taken alive and walked to the ambulance, because his leg was injured, and then escorted to the squad car.

A dear friend of mine reached out this morning, and asked what the hell was going on in Boulder, so this is what I wrote to her......

The guy is from some Iranian area, his full name is Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa....Now he is a citizen, been here since childhood ( 3 years old ) He resides in a community in Arvada, which is about 15 minutes or so from Boulder. He is 21, and he looks like he is 40 in the pictures that they shown as being taking out of the store with a straight thru gunshot wound in his leg. As of right now..10:50am, he is still in the hospital, and will be transported this late afternoon to the jail house waiting to be charged with 10 counts of murder....Now the 10 folks 1 who is a Police Officer who range from 20 years to 65, I believe that a few were workers. A couple of them shoppers, and a few were waiting to get Covid Shots. Where this took place I have been there as a driver for Uber/Lyft..Very nice area, kinda uppity houses and sits close by the college. Now as I was telling my mom, the key word in what the Detectives were saying was going to HIS community to see what set him off...now is he living in an area where there is a bunch of his type live? Is he in a certain area where they are talking about hurting americans? You see Gail, think about the key words...when that white guy shot up those massages, they didn't say they were going to HIS COMMUNITY,,they went to his parents home, where he lived. Black folks kill someone, they don't go to THE HOOD..Hispanic folks who shot up an area, they don;t go to the Barrero. When an Asian kills, they go to The Asian Community....I hope you kinda understand what I am saying,..NOW the kicker to all this is Lauren Bobert, who is a Republican who was voted in ( not by me ) into office. Within 2 hours of the shooting, she went on a funding campaign to get money to support these assault guns...People who think that its okay to buy one of these for " Animal Hunting" better think twice, because you know as well as I that no one has shot a grizzly or mountain lions with an AR or an AK...NONE...these assault rifles are strictly for mass killings on folks, has been, and will continue to be UNLESS government steps up to the plate. I can understand a handgun, but Gail, last night on our news channel, they had all the mass shootings within 5 years, and I don;t want to say this, but there seems to be a trend. 96% were white men, and the 4% were of "COLORED FOLKS" which that 4% included 2 hispanics, and 3 black guys, and some guy who looks Asian, but not for sure what he is, and the rest...Lauren Bobert has not spoken, and folks are looking for her to come to the TV monitor to defend what she is doing...Its like raising $ while folks just died..makes no sense...
You sent Today at 11:08 AM
He has been here since 3 years old, and from Syria

Gail sent Today at 11:10 AM
I agree with you but my husband...who was a Marine back in Viet Nam was....says if a person can carry arms to fight for his country in a war then he should not have an age restriction now. I understand his comment as I said no one under certain ages but no one needs those AR 15 or whatever they are unless they're still in active military. And I've read where gun sales have gone up really high once Biden got in. Let me know what you hear about Why he did these shootings and his neighborhood, etc. I'm off to my antique booths soon so will check in later.

Dana | 10 comments As a Colorado native, I have been here for Columbine, my BIL lost his best friend in the movie theater shooting, and now this. It is just heartbreaking and senseless. I’m having a hard time with it today. I hope everyone can just hug their loved ones a little tighter tonight.

Chris | 732 comments I believe in the 2nd amendment. Also wasn't there a rule or something that had to be renewed by congress and they just let it go on certain types of guns that they let lapse. Guns don't kill people, people kill people. A gun can't pull a trigger by itself. I don't think you should have high powered rifles. But they want to take guns away from everyone which I think is wrong considering what is going on in this world. So whether they take away our guns the criminals are still going to get them. Law abiding citizens will have no way to protect themselves.
