Wow! Those are some very ambitious goals, but I am fairly certain you'll do quite well! Best of luck Gord! 😊

That sounds like fun!
That sounds like fun!

Yes! I really liked the whole series hehe

Hmm that is a tough call. Sleepy Barmaid was a great SoL with beautiful artwork. Amanchu was another great SoL but it's a harder recommend for me. It starts out super solid but it makes some odd choices. Some work and I enjoy them but I can see others not liking them.
On the Shonen side Fairy Tail is Fairy Tail. I'm still in territory of stuff I kind of know but I'm getting to the Erza arc that is rather good. Shaman King I feel is better. I like the art more and the fights are more interesting. The whole power up from friendship isn't as in your face as Fairy Tail.
Finally, Lupin III, I recommend this only to fans of Lupin III and even then it's kind of a hard recommendation to make. The first volume came out in 1967 and while I see the frame work for the characters I know and love it's just not the same. The stories don't really feel well crafted, the artwork is rather ugly, and there is a lot of unsavory elements. Lupin seems to kill a lot more people and steal a whole lot less. There is also the ugly elephant in the room. There is a lot of rape done by pretty much everyone. I'm really on the fence as to whether I want to continue. Part of me does just to see the source material for the franchise I love but part of me just isn't impressed enough to push on.

Magus of the library is quite good from what I have read so far. Good that you've been enjoying the reads!

That's fair. And I do love Mythos Academy. Lol. I'll get to that series eventually I think. I'm glad to hear it wasn't absolutely terrible though. Lol.
It is! I was just re-reading Mythos Academy! Well, I read the first book in April and the second book early last month. I don't know if I'm going to re-read the rest of the series, but it was a lot of fun revisiting those first two books.
Gord! I finished Working Stiff and did love it so thanks again for bringing it to my attention as I would never have found it without you. That is the style of non-fiction I love. Do you have any other recommendations?
