For clarity, tasks which have been claimed are bolded (N.B. this doesn't mean no one else can do them - it is fine for more than one person to do the same task). Those which have not yet been claimed remain unbolded.

This one is mine!! ;)
I think I can read 4. Below are some of the candidates (I have loads on my ereader, so I can be quite flexible)...
Possible reads:
I want to read The Grand Sophy by Georgette Heyer, which I could use for
- island (the U.K.)
- author that is new to me
- romance
- historical fiction
- classic
Another book I' d like to read is: The Death We Share by Sharon Short, which I could use for:
- shoes ? (it has only 1 shoe on it, so I don't know if it would count) - just checked, it counts!
- a job I don't want my date to have (private investigator)
- murder mystery
And another one I would like to read is Knights of Light by Kristen Pham, for:
- human head (with shoulders)
- Young Adult
- fantasy
Currently reading:
Brides for Brothers by Debbie Macomber, for:
- a book where a main characters has a job that you’d like your date to have (pilot - or librarian, but I would rather do that myself!)
- Read a book that’s part of a series (Midnight Sons, part 1)
- Samson and Delilah – Read a romance

Reading 3 books minimum - probably 5 and maybe more.
Flexible - willing to swap or substitute as needed for team plan.
So far committing to:
1. Play It as It Lays - Torso/Body.
2. Still Life - Date's nationality/Set in Canada.
3. Birds, Beasts, and Relatives - memoir.
4. Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet - book set during a war, which has a large impact on the characters.
Considering but uncommitted to:
5. I Am Half-Sick of Shadows - YA, murder mystery, or historical fiction.
6. A Wind in the Door - YA, sci-fi, classics, or fantasy.
7. A Tale Dark & Grimm - YA, fantasy, horror, humorous, animal as main character, or paranormal.
8. The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul - sci-fi, fantasy, humor, or murder mystery.

I can read a science Fiction- Breakers
And a Dystopian that I have yet to find
Plus one more

2. Shooting: Read a book with some serious gunplay, or some type of weapon being used: The Fifth Woman finished
3. classic: Lady Chatterley's Lover finished
4. YA: Esperanza Rising finished
5. hobbies/crafting Nemesis by Agatha Christie finished
6. nonfiction: Deep Down Dark: The Untold Stories of 33 Men Buried in a Chilean Mine, and the Miracle That Set Them Free finished
7. magical realism: The Girl with No Shadow finished

9. Shaggy and Scooby Doo: Read a murder mystery. Appointment with Death by Agatha Christie finished
10. John and Lorena Bobbitt: war. The Undertaking finished
11. Bonnie and Clyde: crime thriller: A Certain Justice finished

We now have a spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
Tasks not yet filled are coloured in bright red.
Please find your name and see which tasks/books I've put you down for. If you want to change your mind and read something different or do a different task, let me know. And if there are more books you want to read, please let me know. If you can fit these books into red tasks, that would be great, but is not essential, as more than one person can do any task.
Also, if I've made any errors on the spreadsheet, please let me know. Everyone please check the column under your name.
Thanks! :-)
***
If team members are happy to do it this way, I am making a thread for people to post their planned tasks and reads once they've decided them, as a place where all the plans are summarised. I will put a list of the tasks in the second post and add people's names and books for the tasks they volunteer for.
Please can everyone make one post on this thread, which they edit to add their books.
If you are making a change to your post, you can also add ****EDIT**** to your post to draw my attention to it.
Please don't make more than one post here, and don't chat here - use the other thread to chat.
When you add books to your post, please can you select 'link' rather than 'cover', so that it says the name of the book rather than a tiny picture, because the titles on those pics are often too tiny to see. And I will not see any pics anyway when I am using my laptop, because I hide them with adblock, so please make sure the titles of your books are in your post.
Thank you!
