Graydon (graypanz95) | 9 comments The Mist !!

I've had this book on my TBR for so long, it's embarrassing. I wasn't sure if it really counted as an element, but mist is made of water, so...I'm gonna count it.

Monique the Book Geek (moniquethebookgeek) | 11 comments For the October "element" buzzword, I'll be reading...

The Haunting of Sunshine Girl by Paige McKenzie The Awakening of Sunshine Girl (The Haunting of Sunshine Girl, #2) by Paige McKenzie The Sacrifice of Sunshine Girl by Paige McKenzie
The Haunting of Sunshine Girl, The Awakening of Sunshine Girl, and The Sacrifice of Sunshine Girl by Paige McKenzie

Sunshine is an outdoor element related to air and fire. It shines through the air, lighting up the sky, and it comes from a burning star. 🌞

Stina (stinalyn) | 13 comments I started With the Fire on High in October, but I didn't finish it and wound up with *nothing* for an elemental word. So I will be rolling this over to my personal challenge for 2022.

message 23: by Sofia (new)

Sofia Samu | 12 comments I plan to read Ice by Anna Kavan, and probably An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir (if I have the time)

message 24: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth | 5 comments I'm planning to read Firestarter by Stephen King and possibly Water for Elephants.

message 25: by Natalie (new)

message 26: by Julie (new)

Julie T. (polarcubby) | 40 comments Lots of possibilities:
Blackwater The Complete Caskey Family Saga (Blackwater, #1-6) by Michael McDowell Ashes of the Sun (Burningblade & Silvereye, #1) by Django Wexler A Wizard of Earthsea (Earthsea Cycle, #1) by Ursula K. Le Guin Grass (Arbai #1) by Sheri S. Tepper The Waking Fire (The Draconis Memoria, #1) by Anthony Ryan

Blackwater is the most promising option for me. Everything else is part of trilogies or series.
