You have some lovely choices on the list. I love Raymond Chandler and enjoyed Treasure Island a lot. Good luck!

Great list, Nike! I loved "The Vegetarian" so it'd be nice to read your thoughts on it. Same goes for "Ivanhoe" and "The Bell Jar", which I both deeply enjoyed at the time. I too have "The Grapes of Wrath" on my to-read list for this bingo and I'm pretty sure it will fit for a great read as well!
Good luck :)
You have a very nice selection as well Nike! Zola seems to me as a very telented author, I haven't read Nana but I read Germinal a couple of years ago and it was quite a thing! Actually I was thinking about chosing Gosta Berlinga Saga for N1 as well but then I figured I would have a pretty hard time finding a copie of it around here...
I read The Steppewolf this year and it was quite an experience, I don't know if i really liked it but to struck me pretty hard and I'm very glad I read it ( and I'm nearly sure I wll be re-reading after some time ).
1984 is quite an expecience as well, from the dytopia I read it was the one that made the biggest impression. Not a fun read but such a good book!
A Room on Ones Own is on my TBR as well and A Hunderd Years of Solitude is a book I should check out some time but not for the moment cause I alraedy have to much to read! XD
Anyways I'm looking forward to se your comments and have your opinion about those books!^^
Good luck on your challenge!
