For book 1, I read the audiobook of Beautiful Ruins, purchased from audible and added to my TBR list on 9/1/2017. The MMPB, for page count purposes, is De si jolies ruines - 471 pages.
For book 2, I used option B (similar authors) and read Blindsighted by Karin Slaughter. I listened to the audiobook and linked to the top MMPB. 440 pages. "Similar author" was verified in post 2 of the Help Thread.
Karin Slaughter is a new author for me.
471 + 440 = 911, exceeding required minimum of 600 pages.
