September -> Read 29 Netgalley arcs and 8 Edelweiss arcs. October -> Read 6 Netgalley arcs and 1 Edelweiss arc
November -> My goal is to get a clean Netgalley slate by the end of the year. Ambitious but do-able since many of them are already out as audiobooks.

Finally, finally finished By Sea & Sky: An Esowon Story! Some of y'all might remember my frustration from a couple of months ago trying to listen to this book. I finally just listened to it on Hoopla so I could finish it. I enjoyed the book. Kind of hated the app. I haven't tried to listen to another audiobook on it since early September, but I'm still wary of requesting another book that I'm not gonna want to listen to because the tech is so annoying.
I received the excerpt for
and finished it today. Can't wait to read the full book, can't get it on NG unfortunately so will download from audible ;)
Still counts for one off the NG shelf though!

I finished and reviewed
The Unwilling. It was very good, 4 stars.
The setting was in the early 70's and the author got it right! It was a good story about brothers and relationships as well as being a suspense/mystery.
I listend on audio and the narrator was excellent!
My numbers weren't quite checking out - total on my shelf minus what I've already read left me one book unaccounted for. Just realised I didn't get around to downloading a book I had been approved for back in 2017. So I somehow need to get my hands on
to get my numbers in order. BUMMER!!

Always good to find a "U" title that's recommended!

I downloaded them, as usual, but eventually realized they were going to my old Kindle. (I hadn't updated my Kindle address with NetGalley when I got a new one. You'd think Amazon would be able to link them or "forward" them somehow.) I'm still looking for a couple of these titles, but I found most in my local library or from paperbackswap.com. Good luck!
Connie N. wrote: "Gem ~Zero Shelf Control~ wrote: "My numbers weren't quite checking out - total on my shelf minus what I've already read left me one book unaccounted for. Go to Amazon
Content & Devices
Change where it says Show: Books right above the titles to Show Docs
Search for the title in the search box above the list of titles on the right or just scroll until you find the title
Click the button with the ... to the left of the title
Where it says Deliver to, select Default Device or click on Others if there's a different device you want to send it to
Then sync the device you sent the doc to and the book should be there
I finished a second book of the month and it was pretty good!
The Other DaughterThis was the first time I had read this author. I could NOT figure out how this was going to end and it was very twisted. If you can let go of reality and just read, I thought it worked out well.
Melanie wrote: "Connie N. wrote: "Gem ~Zero Shelf Control~ wrote: "My numbers weren't quite checking out - total on my shelf minus what I've already read left me one book unaccounted for. I've tried that exact process in the past (and just gave it another shot), but those books are not there (even though they appear on NetGalley as though I downloaded them). I called both Amazon and NetGalley and had long conversations with both of them, and neither were very helpful. But no worries, I've pretty much found the ones I was missing in other formats (since this happened a couple of years ago).
Finished number 5 for the month, 6 & 7 will be finished in the next few days too. Very pleased with myself here :D
I finished number 3 this month. It was the oldest one on my shelf and past publication.
SingleA pyscho suspense drama. It was excellent until the end got carried away by trying to do too much
I forgot to report that I picked up Unfaithful
on audio on the 20th. It published yesterday, so I already listened to it and just reviewed it. Quick turn around on that one!my Unfaithful review
I also just picked up We Begin at the End
. I don't think I'll be able to finish anything else in the next couple of days, so that leaves me with two books reviewed and two books added for the month.
