Was finding it hard to choose an audio book this month. This set my choice. How could I refuse a novel endorsed by Clive Barker?

Haha, is there a name for corn phobia? Turns out there is:Kalampokiphobia
Don't ask me to pronounce it though.
i wasn't planning on joining this one but since there is an audio book out there for it, i just might.
If Reindeer disappears because they have a heart attack, I take full responsibility, but look what I found:

Clown corn!

Clown corn!
Oh WOW adding to my list of Things I Have Learned From HA:Fear of corn is a thing, and clown corn is terrifying.

From the reviews I've read, it's not really YA--except for the characters' ages. I just ordered a copy today.

I'm actually starting this one this week for the Summerween readathon, so I'm excited to discuss it with everyone next month!

We need Char to replace that skull avatar on the group with clown corn.

I would appreciate a lend from someone if possible. Book budget is way over lately. Library doesn’t have it. Just putting that out there.

I started last night, only through the prologue and Quinn is at her first day of school but (prologue spoiler) (view spoiler)
I'm at the 31% mark on my kindle and really enjoying it so far! I feel like Adam writes teens very well, which makes sense, since I believe he's also a high school teacher. But a lot of the jokes being made and turns of phrase are things I feel like I could easily see any teen I know saying in regular conversation. Also, I love Quinn's dad! He's so clumsy and such a goof.

I'm at 36%.I agree with your spoiler, Destiny.
I feel like the author has created some serious tension and atmosphere and I always love that. Whenever these townsfolk get together, at least so far, it seems like a lit powder keg waiting to blow up.
