Tom Adams is an imaginer drifting between lands of fantasy, horror and bizarro. When he strays back into the realm called reality he finds himself in Middleland; a geologically beautiful gamut of scenery in the north west of England. The forces that drive him shift their shapes with sharp needles of inspiration, but at present include the art of Zdzislaw Beksinski, the music and words of Ronnie James Dio and a frankenstein amalgam of word-scriptors such as Vonnegut, Tolkien, Clevenger, Leonard and Bradbury.

Hi John,
Thanks for getting in touch. ‘They Scream in the Dark’ is a standalone story which I haven’t published on any platform as yet. It forms one story in a series I’m developing on John Absolom as a character. There’s another story called ‘North of Lonesome Creek’ which features in my collection, ‘Beasts, Brutes and Abominations’. This book is available on Amazon and the story has Absolom feature as the main protagonist along with his erstwhile female sidekick.
So, the short answer is no, there isn’t really a place to post a review of TSITD, but knowing you appreciated the story means a lot. Hopefully, you’ll enjoy one of my other books and be able to find time to leave a review. Thanks ever so much or your interest.
Best,

Part of the reason is that Mike Portnoy from Dream Theater played with them for a few shows and I am a big fan of his. There’s a bit of a connection there. Are you a fan of both?(less)

5 DARK SECRETS HORROR WRITERS DON’T WANT YOU TO KNOW.

Horror writers secrets? Who would ever have thought they had secrets? Everyone likes to think they’re party to the inside story or that they’re in on the latest conspiracy theory. I read just the other day that Oreos are imprinted with sacred symbols, so when you eat them, you’re partaking of the sacred Knights Templar.
So let these delicious morsels melt in your mouth like the proverbial biscuit.

“What, they were all alcoholics?” “Not all full-blown, no. But the signs were there. It’s been established for quite some time that there can be a genetic disposition to alcoholism, based round an identification of two particular alleles.”

“I was drawn to all the wrong things: I liked to drink, I was lazy, I didn't have a god, politics, ideas, ideals. I was settled into nothingness; a kind of non-being, and I accepted it. I didn't make for an interesting person. I didn't want to be interesting, it was too hard. What I really wanted was only a soft, hazy space to live in, and to be left alone.”
Charles Bukowski
