Hello Everyone! I'm excited to meet you all.Sorry for the delay of introducing myself. I took yesterday off from Goodreads after Donna and I had an exciting Quidditch match on Friday and Saturday. Before I forget my wheel shelf is:
https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...
I enjoy reading almost anything not always too keen on High Fantasy or Sci-Fi but I'm going to try them again. Maybe I just haven't found the right books yet. I think this is my third time playing wheel and it's always been a good time.
Some of my favorite books are:
Pretty much anything by Jenny Colgan.
This was a real surprise!
Fantastic vampire series!
Wonderful classic
This was another surprise. I had a friend recommend it and he didn't think I would enjoy it but I loved it.
If you like romantic comedy this series is hilarious!

J.R. Ward is great! I devour her books. I cannot put down any of her books. Her writing style is one of the best.

To share with the team, you can just copy the URL from your browser here To link your book on the SS
*Go to the version of the book you read
*ctrl + c to copy the address of this book from your browser
*Go to the spreadsheet
*Place your cursor in the space where you want your book link to go...you can even type the name of your book in the space...then
*Find the icon in the toolbar at the top...it looks like a link...click on that
*The name of your book should now be in the 'text' box...if not, just type it in here
*ctrl + v to paste the address in to the box labeled 'link'
*Be sure to 'apply
:)
Hi Team! 😊I think it's my 1st time playing Wheels (?!). I'm gonna be participating in the 2nd BOM Five Feet Apart that was in my TBR for a while.
My favorite genre of books is Romance. I read M/F Romance but also love M/M Romance. I read only fiction and about every other genre, really...with the exception of Historical fiction & historical romance, which I don't like much.
I mainly Love books that are high on the feels or simply make me smile (and swoon).
I'm a slow reader... Read about a book a week. So, I'll probably only be able to read 2 books per round in this challenge.
So, besides the BOM, I'm planning on reading Lick by Kylie Scott which is tagged "Music", so will get us some extra points there.
Here's the link for my shelf for Wheels - https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...
And some Recommendations of books I've read and Loved:
M/F Romance
M/M Romance
Hope we have lots of fun in this challenge! ☺️

Hey Vivi...we share the love for romance. I liked the Stage Dive series quite a lot...I hope you do too. I just read Closer which, I think is the last/most recent volume.

We promise not to let the bunnies attack!
BUT, in the spirit of team interaction, I would also like to invite each of you to drop by anytime to ask for specific recommendations for your favorite type of book or when you want something totally random to read!

Morning everyone, sorry for the delayed check in!I'm a wheelathon newbie so I hope I don't mess it up. I've added my first book to the spreadsheet and think I've done it right? I've added Stamped from the Beginning: The Definitive History of Racist Ideas in America for I (Ibram X. Kendi), and task 170 (MPG history).
I'm a science teacher by day, but when I'm not teaching I'm either blogging, animal crossing or reading. I love sci-fi and fantasy in particular, but read a real mixture, pretty much open to anything.
Recommendations:
The Poppy War
Assassin's Apprentice
Red Rising
Reasons to Stay Alive
Wolf Of The Plains

Could we consider this Task 52, "Text only on cover"?"
Yeah Ashlee...thank you for breaking the mold with our first book question!!!
We are challenged as a team to tackle these serious book matters.
I'm seeing paint on this cover...I think the task is looking for something closer to this...
or
Anyone else have an opinion for Ashlee??
3 more days until we start! So exciting. Has everyone lined up your books! I'm working on my master plan. So it occurred to me that strategically pages read are critical for points BUT if we can apply the bonus points for our list and/or the bonus for the tag by reading more books (shorter) that's a good thing right? Just something to think about.
I'm really going to try to stick with what I want to read this challenge...so I'm spending some time ahead figuring out what works with what.
I think I'm going to start with the BOM...The Jetsetters...I hope it's good :)
I thought it would be considered because when you look up text only covers "World War Z" and "Ugly Love" pop up and they have fire/water on them

Hello Team Wizard of Oz,I'm flying around from Harry Potter to wish you all a safe, fun voyage through reading land. My witches and wizards are sharing recommendations for everyone to use during our voyage wanted to invite you all to take a look here and we would love it if you would come over and share your thoughts with us. No matter what if its good or bad we would like to hear your thoughts on the book you picked.
Happy Travels!
Hi everyone!
I've ventured out from Middle Earth to invite you all round whenever you would like. It's never more than 5 minutes from a meal (speaking of which is it time for lunch yet...).
We've got a lovely selection of recommendations here to tempt you all and would love it if you stick around to tell us what you thought.

For text only, I would go for the ones you posted even if there is a list of text only covers because then there's no debate.
I'm furiously trying to finish up the 2 books I'm in the middle of before Friday! I have my first few books planned just because I already have them checked out of the library. I also think the more plain the better for the letters only cover.

Just joined, so I have The Jetsetters lined up to go. Is there a time limit that you can keep the books?
Stacey wrote: "Tammie wrote: "Here's an invite link for scrib if you want to try it. Both BOMs for June are on here audio for sure. Full disclosure...I get free 30 days if you go for this. I think you get 60 days..."You know what...I just joined as well. I don't think there is. It's different in that you don't actually 'own' the books like you do with audible. They just go away when your subscription runs out.
So far I've read 2 books. They were books I would have had to pay for via audible...I like that this just gives me another option.
I also marked my calendar so I don't forget to cancel if I don't like it. Worth a try I think...love getting things free.
I've also grown to love audio reading...I read a lot more and drifted away from t.v. watching actually.

This book will work for several other things on our list...so you should be good to go...I wondered if it wasn't a recommended read from someone...I haven't read it, or I would do so...it looks pretty good...I've added to my tbr...look forward to hearing how you like it :)
On scribd? Nope. I have had books on my saved list for months. Occasionally, a book is taken off of the platform but they will email you before it happen so you have time to read it.

What do you think Donna...do you have all of the Amazon apps as well?
Donna wrote: "I love Scribd. There are a lot of books on there that you can't find on Kindle Unlimited."Thanks Donna :)

Thanks, everyone. I'll just choose something else so there won't be any confusion.
Donna wrote: "On scribd? Nope. I have had books on my saved list for months. Occasionally, a book is taken off of the platform but they will email you before it happen so you have time to read it."I think I'm just in library mode -- If I don't buy it there must be a time limit on how long I can keep it. I know a lot of people on here use it a lot, I'll just have to see how it meshes with my other subscriptions and then decide which ones to keep. :)
For the BOMsI will read Five Feet Apart but I am experiencing issues getting a copy of The Jetsetters so I won't be reading it. The wait time is astronomical. The only copy I found was an audiobook and I can't focus on those. I could theoretically buy a copy but it really isn't my thing. If it was a different genre, I would have already bought it. If the rest of the Carnegie library system opens up and I can get it from another branch, I will grab it later.

If I want to read it, I save it anyways. Usually it is available within a week.
