So I've read: by Kresley Cole and I liked it! A really good read, 4 stars.
If you like PNR, hot sex and lots of humor, you're good with the Immortal After Dark series. This one is #3.
This time we see what happens when reluctant vampire Sebastion Wroth (cute!) discovers that the Valkyrie vampire-killer Kaderin the Cold Hearted is his Bride.
What I liked most was that the instant attraction wasn't confused with love. It slowly evolves through out the book. And ofcourse I love the Valkyries. I'm sure I'll be talking in their words when I say: those are some crazy bitches! Especially Regin and nucking futs Nïx.

By the way: I might be one of very few but I think I liked #2 of Immortals After Dark A Hunger like no Other even more than this one...

Well, I'm going to be out of the reading loop for the next few days. My "granddaughter" (Oz's foreign exchange student) has Homecoming on the 10th and Grandma is making her dress. Sigh, its soooo nice to have someone to make frilly things for again. :o) Its black velveteen with white lace and has a short hem (just above the knees) with a slightly flared skirt. She's going to be so CUTE.

See the little link above the posting box called (Some HTML is ok)? That will show you all the HTML tags you can use... For strikethrough, it's s in brackets followed by slash s in brackets when you no longer want a strikethrough.

Thanks Flibbity, I finally got it. I will definetely keep reading, I love this series! I have to go buy the 3rd book now. I have to say Jeaniene Frost is a great writer and those of you who mentioned how well she wrote a certain part...she did an excellant job. She needs to write more books...soon!!!

EEK! I need to pay closer attention when I read. I was 200 pages into Definitely Dead and very confused. The author kept alluding to plot points that I couldn't remember. Then, I realized I missed a short story in the Bite anthology. I had to put down the book and go read the short story. WOOPS! I'll have to be more careful and look for little anthology stories between my remaining Sookie books. :)

I don't know if you've seen or interested but on the 6th a anthology of all the Sookie short stories is coming out. That way you'll never miss something!

I don't think it really matters actually. Although everybody's interlinked things are well explained or there is no need for more back story. Although I must say #3 and #4 should be read in order cause they both take place during and after the Hie and some events are parallel.
I haven't read the first IAD cause it's in an anthology and I can't seem to find an on line version. Normally I'm a chronologics freak though. I have to read series in order :D
