Published 1950
Paperback, 182 pages
A wonderful collection of stories. The last two were truly memorable, There will Come Soft Rains will stay with me for years. The description of the side of the house is gripping. As for the last story, The Million-Year Picnic, the reflected image of the Martians and the hope of a fresh start was a fitting end.
