I hear ya Anita. My son should have been finishing up his senior college baseball season. Something he’s worked for since he was 4 years old and we had his road trips all planned out the whole spring. Our governor and the mayor of Chicago are using this to play politics and I believe they are using this to audition for their presidential run in 4 years. Sorry don’t get me started. Anyway, I hope you love your books! I missed Broken being released end of the month. I need to add that.
You are not alone, Laura. I'm so sorry for your son. I hope he gets the chance to show his talents another way. All the seniors who left school and will never see some of these kids again. High School seniors are missing activities they have waited for, like prom. It's sad.Nanny Newson just ordered the beaches in Orange county closed. He needs to realize that if he opened the beaches and public spaces intelligent people can figure out how to social distance.

I guess they think people fish in boats within 6 feet of each other.
Right? Dumb doesn't even begin to cover how I feel about all the restrictions we are facing. Some of the So Cal lakes are closed, others are open. My daughter and her family take their boat to the Colorado River outside Yuma. Everything open there.

In my life BC (Before Covid-19) This would have been a very busy month. Baseball and softball games, picnics, beach volleyball and bike rides on the Strand. My niece was getting married at a winery in Northern California. But, not much of that is going to happen this year. Now life is at the discretion of my despot of a governor and he is on a mission to destroy what was once a Golden State. I'm determined not to be captive in my own home and to do as many activities as allowed by law, and even some that aren't!
