Challenge 1 of 2015: New, New and New!
I've been reading all over the place and picking up things due to interest level at the time (and/or the need to return things) so I've thrown my "Fancy Status" out the window. It so wasn't happening! However, I'll continue to "proactively" keep at my reading goal - especially as it pertains to New/New/New! Let's see how many I can read before this challenge is over.
In the meantime, I read two more:
Finished #3/10, my pick for L and I'm using it for one of my Non-YA picks! :D
(02/11) My original post has been updated too.
Read 6/9 (H)
. and updated post 6. Just three more books.
I think I can .... I think I can.... I think I can...
Congratulations to Anna for completing her Fancy Level! First fancy-level finisher thus far!And double Congrats to Laurel for finishing round two of the simple level!
What a great way to start a new month, you guys!
If you've still got books that work within the challenge parameters, I say go easy and aim for completing 1/2 of a round :)On the other hand, I know how much I enjoy having a complete and free reign over my choice of books sometimes, so you could count March as your reward for doing so well on the challenge in January and February.
In either case, you did smashingly! Good job!

I really wanted to like this more than I did. The premise was great and the writing wasn't bad - but the characters were blah and there were too many moments in which I had to suspend my disbelief in order to keep reading. I finished, but probably won't be reading any further in the series (also, I was annoyed that it was SUCH a series book. No sense of completion to book #1 at all! Just a cliffhanger).
I've technically finished my 6th - woohoo! Just finished reading My Heart and Other Black Holes (which was a pretty good book for teens about depression, I think). I'm going to see if I can re-upgrade myself to fancy, now that I've finished the "simple version" (since I down-graded earlier as a means to even finish this challenge).
No promises, but it's worth a shot! :)
Am a little late here, but I'll sign up for the simple level.Finished:
(Non-YA)Updated 6-Apr-2015: Challenge finished

thanks so much for the input Gremlin!
Updated! And welcome aboard, sanny! It's never to late to give yourself a challenge :) You can do it!
Finished 8 out of 9.
. It can work for both the N or the O so I don't know where to put it. I may wait until I figure out the last book to read.
This challenge has been great for me because it made me realize I can read more than I thought I could! So I figured I'd just keep going even though I picked simple level. Finished # 7
. Updated post 71. I'm currently reading another new to me author
but doubt I will finish it before end of March since life is starting to get in my way again.
Congratulations, Gabriela!! I hope you're had as much success on your NY Resolution as you've had with this challenge! :)
Jamie wrote: "I hope everyone else is having an easier time than I am. Lol I forsee not making this one."You've always got the option of doing what I did. Abandon ship! No, wait... I mean... Change your plan. Instead of pushing for the fancy one, you can always switch back to the simple version. You've already read 5 books - so just one more would get you to simple status completion! :)
Well in that case, WOMAN OVERBOARD! LOL I just finished a book so I can definitely fit one more in before the end of the month.
Finished book four:
, updated original post too. I'M ALMOST THERE O_O *huffs towards the finish line*
Finished book two:
. Took me forever to finish this since it's too...teenage-y and not very exciting in my opinion. Mary Sue main character too. Luckily the next book looks promising!
Re: #231
Finally finished!! Book 6 out of 6 was
I'm starting book 7,
, but I'm not going to turn it into any sort of word play or anything. :)
