I got way behind right away in posting pages, so am posting books finished and will give a total of those--that will constitute most of my reading during that time since I am reading one to two books a day and the ones I am reading slowly I'll just have to skip.
Yeah, it can be hard to remember to keep track on these extended readathons! But it is the total that really matters so your method should work too Karin.
Kinda wish I'd picked different books to read this week - I didn't read as much as I'd hoped as the books were both just kinda 'meh'. Wasn't compelled to pick them up very often.
Leslie wrote: "Yeah, it can be hard to remember to keep track on these extended readathons! But it is the total that really matters so your method should work too Karin."Great. Also I may add up the pages in an audiobook I started the other day; I won't worry about any other partial reads as that will even out because I started one book the night before we started.

As for me, it's quite difficult to keep track of pages, since I prefer audiobooks and ebooks. But this readathon is an interesting experience I should say. It turns out that I read more books at the same time than I thought.

For example, if an audio book is 10 hours long and the print book is 250 pages long and I listen to the audio for 1 hour at regular speed, then 250 pages/10 hours = X pages/1 hour, which becomes 250/10 or 25 pages that I listened to.
Hmmm....putting this in writing makes it look more difficult than it is. Sorry about that.
Thank you all for taking part. I’m having issues with the internet so haven’t been able to update page totals yet.

Updated my page totals and have added a few people's to my spreadsheet. As usual, I will keep checking in and keep adding when I see them.
The May readathon will be taking place from the 29th to the 31st. I will update you all before hand if lockdown measures are still in place and you would like the readathon extended again.
Thank you Laura, I'm adding it to my spreadsheet now and will have another check through everyone else page totals.
Argh - I have lost my notes on Thursday's reading but my total for the other days is 2364 pgs. Sorry for the delay Alannah!
As I have said before, the next readathon will be taking place from the 29th - 31st May. I'm not sure if I will extend it just yet but happy to do so if people would like me to as I'm under the impression that lot of members need to self-isolate until June.
