I think Isabelle and Alec are being nice to her now because she's less competition, even if Isabelle doesn't actually want Jace herself. I felt bad for Luke through the last 25% of the book. He just can't catch a break with anything. I'm so glad that he and Clary are back together now and they can work through this together. (hide spoiler)]
