Rain, Rain Go Away...I feel much like I am living Longfellow's "The Rainy Day"☔🌧 Two days of it with wind, too. The leaves are down everywhere. I rake, but within 30 minutes the ground is covered again! I told my mom that I'm giving up and will simply call the leaves part of my Autumn decorations! 😁😂🤣🍁🍂🍃🍂🍁I feel like having all of my trees cut down, except for the pine trees! 🌲🌲🚫🌳

Oh no. I will not share Hershey Kisses with anyone! If I did pack them, along with myself, they would be gone before I reach my destination. I need something to sustain me while I am packed in the box, in transit!!!🤣😂😁😆😊 LOL!!!

On a serious note, Covid 19 numbers are very high again in my area. It has hit record numbers. They are beginning to close schools again. It's neverending.🙏

Because of the photo of the wood, does that mean they will help you with the chopping? The Amish around here have work/frolics for barn raisings and such. That will be nice if they help with the wood! It looks like you have the better part of a forest there!🌲🌲🌲Pammy Jo

We usually buy wood that is already cut in blocks (sometimes huge blocks!) which I split over the winter, but the man we bought it from lost his supplier this year, so we had to get tree length. I'm actually quite proud of the progress we've made so far...my dad has been doing most of the cutting and I do the splitting, but I worry about him working that hard, so I'm very thankful that they are going to help. I wouldn't mind if they leave some for me to split, though! 😁

One time he had an infection and I took him to the doctor, who he was good friends with, so the doctor knew him well. The doctor looked at me and said he was going to write a note to excuse me from work for a week because he knew my dad would not listen, and had to be watched closely. He really did write me out for the week, too!
