I have a small tip for everyone...NEVER buy a battery operated can opener!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️
My mom bought one the other day...and used it today...you clip it on and hit the button...and it just starts going around and around....AND IT WON'T STOP, even if you hit the button again and again!! 😂😂 And then when I took it off and got it to finally stop, it started going again! 🤦🏻‍♀️
So anyway, never buy a battery operated can opener...😵

I could live that way! We've had so many problems with our plumbing (pipes freezing, etc.), I keep saying I'd like to do without it. 😂

When you say kicking you off, what do you mean? Several times today, when I checked in, I got a message saying Goodreads is over capacity at this time. Try again later. Is that what you are getting? I thought I would stay off the rest of the day, but I decided to check back in because I thought it was odd that it's been so quiet.🤔

As you all know I haven't been contributing much lately but I still believe very much in this group. Now is the time for all of us to remain together and support each other. I was a moderator of a group a while back and let me just say one person cannot do it all by themselves. Therefore I think it would be a good idea for each of us to support Ruth in whatever way we can. Maybe lead a group read or a discussion thread. Take it from one who has been there that helps a lot. I don't think any of us want this group to fade away. So what do you say guys?
