I just told my mom the other day that the Amish are the smart ones. They will survive because they are self-sufficient! I wonder if an Amish family would be willing to take me in? I know how to handle a horse and buggy!😊

I just went for a walk around our property and saw a variety of animal prints in the snow. Many birds, bunnies and squirrels! Also, lots of deer prints! In addition to those, I discovered coyote prints AND footprints left by a black bear! Apparently, the bears seen in the area last year have permanently moved in. I only hope I don't find a bear living under our deck!🐻😳

One night I was going down there for some reason, but thought I heard something moving around in the back, so I changed my mind and decided to wait until daylight... 😏🤣🤣

Hi Pammy! Hope you're doing well! 🤗 We have a really bad storm as well and it's very possible we may lose power...there's going to be really strong winds tonight.

Praying for everyone who is still dealing with bad weather.🙏The ice storm here was worse in the Poconos. In my area, we now have steady rain which is washing the ice away. I have been hearing the ice drop off the trees and the house, so it is no longer accumulating.🙏 We are getting another big snowstorm Thursday and Friday, with icing predicted again. Yet another is coming Sunday night. The rest of the country doesn't look much better, either.🙏

Glad you are ok, Pammy Jo! Oh I can't imagine the mess in the Poconos, on top of all the snow they had! It's starting to snow here, but it's pretty much just a routine storm for us. I checked the truck yesterday and it started right up...we'll see what it does today when we need it... 🙄🤣🤣

When you need something most is always when it lets you down.🙏 I have found that to be true of people, too. Locally, I mean. I love my mom, but she has a way of doing that to me...a lot. To keep peace, I've learned to grin and bear it. It's been like that since I was a child. Many times, I thanked Jesus that I had my dad and my grandparents. It's very tough now that it's just the two of us. We're very different. I feel grateful and she gets into a "woe is me" frame of mind. That's tough to be around. Oh well, it is what it is. 😳 My poor dad did not like when people said that to him. It got his dander up, plus his sometimes colorful language came out then, too! 🤣😂

Feeling creeped out, as there is a constant humming noise all around my town tonight. Nobody knows what it is or where it's coming from. Very strange! 😱🛸👽⁉️❓ Hoping I don't get abducted by aliens! Wait....I wonder if the aliens' weather is better than here? If it is, beam me up! 🤣😃🤣Every day gets more interesting than the day before around here!

Seriously, new power lines have been put up just outside of town...and they are massive. The utility company was supposed to connect them this week, so maybe that's what caused the humming.💡

They are hungry. I feel especially bad for the deer. A few have been in my yard and they look so thin. Very sad.
