The Amazing Race Team Challenge - Not fast, Just Furious (13)

9 - Subgenre easy answer is M/M romance
51 - We all seemed similar agreement but didn't decide one, looking through I'd go Nov, Aug or Sep 2019?
52. Shall we go New York, since I think using England for another one.
55 - Teams 1, 9, 7 and 11 are the other mm groups. Which ever we pick we read one of the books they have for this challenge, so maybe shall have a look at theirs see which we match.
57 - I think can read for anyones hometown in the team, exept for your own. Those are listed still on 1st page
58 - Just go for most recent 2017?
59 - I would go with 90s, but to be honest I'm probably have to search for any of the decades so if prefer 70s can do that. I didn't see yours Sunshine.
62 - Easy, all our birth months on first page.
65 - Majority we picked Australia
69 - Majority we went Law Enforcement
73 - We picked 2019
60 - Majority for Beach
63 - Go with A? I realised doesn't include articles so the wouldn't count... If we went T.
67 - I feel like shirt is best for this but anything I'm sure can find book for.
75 - Enemies to lovers is easy find, we did fake relationship for series 😊

9 - M/M romance
51 -Nov 2019 would have more books to choose
52. New York
58 - 2017
59 - 90s
60 - Beach
63 - A
67 - shirt

Awesome! I tried to pick ones that none of you have read or had on tbr, they are all books ive loved too and wanted to provide variety of genres as well. So I'm glad worked out rather well 😊
I love the look of Mexican Heat and I might have to give Adulting 101 a chance, I keep skipping over it but seems to have good reviews.

Are there any 1990's MM romance or gay romance? I can do MF but just wanted to check.
I vote England for #57 teammates hometowns. It is easier.
My rec's - tried to base as much as what someone has on the list:
Someday, Someday
NoX
Rock N Soul
Bad Judgment
Depth of Field
Be My Best Man
(I'd probably select Adulting 101 or Nova P off the current list)

I forgot about those! Thank you!!

Almost never heard any of those. I've only read Brokeback mountain, which is a short book.
Edit: the collection Close Range: Wyoming Stories, where this story was included is more than 150 pg, though.
I'll probably go for a mystery if we get this task, I've got at least ten in my TBR published in the '90s.

I've got Depth of Field as one of my SH books, I'm leaning towards that one or Mexican Heat so far if this task is called 😊
Im almost done with my book so will get all posted soon xx

maybe put the final pick ist in one of the early messages 6 - 9)
my picks:
Shattered Glass
The Lightning-Struck Heart
Chase in Shadow
They Both Die at the End
Locked in Silence
St. Nacho's
For Real

62. Read 6 books published in a teammates' birth month, you may not use your own month.
Use the initial publication date for this task. You need to use a teammate's birth month - not your own. If two of you share a birth month, you can use it then.

Hey Jo. I finished too. Could you put the completion date in your post?

Agreed! I don't give 5 stars easily but Captivating literally just had me the whole time. So interesting, beautiful and messy in the best way. It just worked so well xx

I stayed up late finishing and literally changed my post and went to bed so I didn't even see Sunshine's which was like 10 minutes later. The time zone thing is a killer!

Awesome! It's literally amazing and so unique, I've not read anything like it before. The first book intoxicating is pretty good too and has a couple characters from that one, with few references but I didn't think that book as anywhere near too how much I loved captivating xx

There was a task for Team 1 for a book with a boat/car/motorcycle/airplane on cover. Which one should we pick if we get it?

You can skip book 1 easily! It's completely different characters, just the bodyguard agency stays same. So you see them in each book, Linc is bodyguard/MC from bk 1 and Wyatt is Elijahs friend but that's all. So they appear but don't need to know their story first.
Captivating is all Shep and Elijahs story 😊

Maybe, when we have a challenge similar to the last one, the first one that responds can pick they type, in this case the book cover color. Maybe it will be something that the cover model has on, i.e. hat.
