Has Team 21 posted anything? we decided on an author and there is nothing but crickets over on my team. Did we get eliminated...lol....I'm not sure anyone on my team is even doing anything. How do I find out? I had the fly for about 4 days (not COVID) I started feeling better and I thought they would have Task done and waiting on me but no one but me has posted a book. Did I miss something or am I doing it wrong?

Hi Kat - 21. Read a book recommended to you by a teammate - no pass for this task.
Does each team member have to make a rec to a different team member or can members make a rec and then the teammate pick one of those picks?
64. Each teammate reads a book from a teammate's to-read shelf, no pass for this task.
Each teammate is free to pick which ever shelf they like? That is, one teammate's shelf may be read by 3 of the teamies, with the pickee's choosing from another teamie's shelf.
Task 4 Completed14. Read 4 books with fewer than 500 reviews

My plan was to leave it up to teams how they wish to make the recs - that this would be a task they would have to work together on. So they could agree to make some recs to the group in general or to a teammate in particular or even each teammate makes a pick for all the others. My only plans were if a person wanted to specify a shelf to pick from that there be a minimum number of books on it. I'll go ahead and just say 10 books minimum on a shelf if specified.

Yes, that is right. This is not a team decision. You can't read from your own, but can read from any of the others. It doesn't matter which shelf your teammates choose.
OK, I think I'm current here. Let me know if I missed something! Now off to the PIFM that I had the wrong date in my head for... 🤦🏻♀️

70. Each teammate reads a book that the teammate after them alphabetically has rated 5 stars. No pass for this task.Does the series rule count for this task?
I had a feeling it did (for teamies and group shelves) but don't want to go with the next in my series if it doesn't :)

Sorry for the delay, after this morning I walked away from the computer and got obsessed with some spring cleaning! My house looks better, but I'm behind some here.I'll try to get things answered now. 😊

No, a vampire isn't a shifter. Though the tag would work (why do people tag things like that?!), the book really doesn't qualify.

It does, sorry I didn't answer earlier. I should have included it when I assigned the task, but it does say it in the post with the list of tasks.
If you have a missing teammate, please let me know! I will contact them and hopefully get you moved on to your next task quickly!
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!I have been very easy going with completion posts, but beginning SUNDAY, that will change. If I ask for ask for a correction - correct page count, missing completion element, marked selection rather than completion or ??, I will be waiting for the correction prior to assigning the next task!!
So teammates, double check each other's Completion Posts and make sure they are complete and accurate!
We have the task read a new to you author. I picked an author and then was looking at her books written and apparently she wrote a story in an anthology I read once. I'm guessing she no longer counts as new to me in this case? Thanks.
Stacie wrote: "We have the task read a new to you author. I picked an author and then was looking at her books written and apparently she wrote a story in an anthology I read once. For example, many years ago I read Once Upon a Castle by Nora Roberts and others. It shows on my shelves as by Nora Roberts. When I search for the other authors on my shelves, it says I don't have anything. I would not know I read anything by those authors without looking at the anthology itself.
That is the long way of saying, if you know before you read the book shouldn't count. But if you have already finished the book, I will overlook the anthology.
