Well if social distancing or “stay home orders” are still prevalent many people might be able to get in a few hours of reading as part of celebrating the holiday.

I can't read when there are people in the room with me, so with hubby at home, my reading time has dropped to almost nothing! Only way I'm getting through books right now is audio, lol.

We aren't doing much for Easter this year anyway. This will give me the perfect excuse to sit and read. :) I'm in!
Yay yay yay! I really, really need DEAR day this year. Being stuck at home for me has actually meant *less* reading because I’ve lost my commute.
And I keep neglecting books to go down stress-inducing internet rabbit holes. Hopefully DEAR day will force me to spend the entire day reading instead!
I'd like to do this. I don't work on Sundays and due to the coronavirus, I don't think we're going anywhere for Easter.
I would like to join in! I've been considered "essential" for the social distancing/quarantine so I could use a day of reading!
I would like to join in! My state is in a stay at home order all month, and I don't work on Sundays.

I'm in! South Africa is under lock down until the 16th of April. Can't wait for the 12th!
I'm in! I could use a good 24 hour read-a-thon to get me back in gear after slacking off in March!DEAR Read-A-Thon Tracker
Pages Read:
- 311 pages - COMPLETED!
- 112 pagesTotal Pages: 423
Books Completed:
I'll join!! The more I clear out of my bookshelf the less I have to pack and move when quarantine is over :')
I'm in! I'd rather celebrate this than go to a relative's house and eat their weird food anyway, especially this year.
Everyone ready? Do you have your book(s) picked out? Dear Day starts tomorrow ( unless you live in the southern hemisphere!)
I guess I'm going to decide what I want to read a little later today:-)
I am excited. I will hopefully able to finish The Bird King which I started last week along with some other stuff. Then I may try to cram in a shortish book just for the day..
I have four books that I have already started. I am about halfway through three of them, but I have not been reading hardly at all for the past 4 weeks. I seem to be in a book slump of sorts. I am planning to use this DEAR day to finish at least one, maybe two, of the books I already have going. I think I will try for The Forgotten Home Child and Unfollow Me. I received both as ARCs for review, but just wasn't able to finish on time. It will feel good to get those off my plate.
Ohh still deciding on what I really want to read, but I have a few on my list for sure. I finally want to finish For Tibet, with Love: A Beginner's Guide to Changing the World, which I have been reading for months now. Other than that I would love to read/ continue Strange the Dreamer and read Dancing With Elephants as well as Witch To be honest, I would like to read even more but I also need to be realistic as I also want to finish my Audio Book. Will see how this Readthon will go. So excited to join <3
