happy easter. nothing to do but read and work outside. hope ya'll have a good day.

ya i've read all my uncles books and still have a a few of his at home. life is bein with books. even with this f*** viris keep safe.

witch of the federation is great have fun with it. it's slow at first then it speeds up so hang in there.

But! I hunkered down for a couple of hours and read the last 150 pages or so of At the House of the Magician and have made some progress on my audiobook, Anna K!

i just finished Uncaged. great book. like the animal. and Shay.

Hoping to get this finished in an hour or so!

Not a bad day's reading considering the lack of peace and quiet!

I haven’t started any brand new book today, but I still might, and in the meantime I have taken breaks from The Bird King to continue reading The Ghost in the Third Row, and will also read more of The Last Human and possibly The Lavender Menace: Tales of Queer Villainy!....
Hmmm, maybe I shouldn’t start yet another book today when I still have all of those to deal with, lol.

Yes Anderle is always slow in starting a series. Have you read any of his other work?

Read 1/2
Just finished listening to: The Road by Cormac McCarthy (⭐⭐⭐, 241/241 pgs, 6 h 42 m/6 h 42 m)
Currently reading: Dreamer's Pool by Juliet Marillier (9/434 pgs, 10 m/17 h 44 m)

Great job everyone!!

I finished listening to the last 20% of Animal Farm by George Orwell. I then chose to pick up Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Albertalli and finished all 352 pages in just over 3 hours. I listened to my daughter read a Dork Diaries book about pet sitting (I can't remember which one in the series) for an hour and a half later that evening. As I got ready for bed, I listened to 45% of Jim Dale reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.
I know I read little bits and pieces of things with my kids in between and I'm not counting the reading my son and I did together that morning. We read a ton on a daily basis, or at least I do and I feel like the kids read more than they used to, but my goal for D.E.A.R. was just to get one full book read in one sitting, finish one audiobook, spend time listening to each child independently read for leisure, and listen to something comforting and relaxing that I've heard before.
