Emma, around what year did you read this book? A range of years is fine. This will help us narrow down the search.

What are the fantasy elements?

A guess - Project Pandora by Aden Polydoros?

How and where are the main characters trained to be assassins?

It's in a fantasy world so I don't remember the exact name but I know that it was in a certain kingdom. They could be trained at a school or by a mentor that chooses to take on an apprentice. People having magic is rare but it does happen however neither of the main characters have magic at least not to my knowledge, I guess it's possible they could gain it later but as far as I know they don't have magic.

I've read it within the past three years so anywhere from 2017-2019. The book seemed to be fairly new when I had it and it was published in English. I know that it is a fantasy book and is not science fiction. It was also set in the girls perspective but could've possibly switched later on or been in third perspective.
