After awhile she wakes up with ace's head in her lap

Jace was still on the couch, flipping through the guide on the TV. He had put the popcorn in the kitchen and filled Ace's food bowl.
"How long was i asleep for?" She asks with a yawn
Jace looked at his watch, "Two hours at least." He told her quietly. Outside the sky was dark except for the stars.
"Really? Wow. I had the weirdest dream" she says as she rubs her eyes, trying to wake up a bit
"What was it about?" Jace asked, curiously. He started petting Ace.
"Ace could talk. And apparently i had a baby. It was really weird" she says. Though she couldn't remember half of it
Jace smiled, "That is pretty weird." Ace was still curled up against Liz.
Ace gives her a look"You didnt say nice things." She says to ace. He cocks his head almost as if saying "who me?" And liz laughs
Jace smiled brightly. To him, Liz seemed to be at ease being there with him and now Ace too.
Liz scratches behind ace's ear abd then she hugs him "well i think im going to go to bed" she says with a yawn as she lifts the blanket off herself
"Okay. Goodnight, Liz." Jace said softly. He glanced over at Ace who was half-covered by a blanket.
Liz goes up to bedAce, seeing liz goes, jumps off the couch and follows her
Jace smiled. He heard Ace run up the stairs. Ace seemed very happy and loved Liz.
((Next day? Maybe jace gets called in with the k9 unit?))
((Okay.))Jace woke up to his phone ringing. He answered and listened. "Yes sir. I'll be there as soon as I can." He hung up his phone and quickly got dressed in his uniform. He went downstairs. "Ace, Come."
Ace perks up and jumps off of the couch, quickly going to jace's side
Jace opened the duffel and took out the vest. He slipped it onto Ace. He scrawled a note to Liz and left it on the counter before leaving with Ace.
Ace lets him put on the vest and then he follows jace out the door
Jace opened the backseat of the car and tossed the duffel in. Ace climbed into the car. Jace closed the door and hopped in the driver's seat. He pulled out of the driveway.
Ace makes himself comfy in the kennel and he settles down for the ride
Jace drove quickly toward the scene. When he got there, he slipped the leather collar over Ace's head and hooked on the short leash. He carried the long leash with him.
Ace moves around excitedly as he knows hes about to go to work
Jace held onto the leash tightly as he walked to one of the officers. "Hello sir, what do you need from us?" Jace asked.
"We need a k9 for drug searches. We've got an arrest in progress and they called for k9 backup" the head officer explains as they walk the short distinct to the scene
Jace walked next to the officer toward the scene. "Yes, sir." He looked down at Ace.

Ace looks forward, his ear pricked up. After a moment he starts barking and jumping, tugging at the leash
"Ace, heel." Jace commanded. He looked toward the other officer and reached to unhook the leash.
Once off the leash, he walks forward with his noes to the ground, tryinv to pick up a scent"Maybe hes trying to tell you something" the other officer offers
"I know. Just have to let him show me." Jace replied following behind Ace.
Jace jogged behind Ace, watching to try and figure out what he smelled.
After a moment, ace chargers forward and takes down one of the suspects who had made a run for it
Jace was right behind Ace. The suspect fell to the ground on his face. Jace pinned the suspect's hands behind their back. He took his handcuffs and handcuffed the guy. "Good boy, Ace."
Ace barks at the guy but does not attack him again
Jace hauled the guy to his feet, holding the handcuffs. Another officer came up and took the suspect from Jace. He hooked the leash back on Ace and began leading him to the house to complete the drug search.
Ace wags his tail, knowing hes done well
Jace stepped into the house with ace. He led Ace through all the rooms slowly, searching for drugs.
As they come through the door, ace sits at the corner of a bed and he looks to jace for praise as he had smelled something
"Good boy, Ace." Jace told Ace. He petted Ace before kneeling to look under the bed for what Ace had smelled.
Jace saw two bundles on the floor under the bed. He pulled them out from under the bed.
Ace stands up and looks at the bundles while wagging his tail
"Good boy, Ace. Good boy." He petted Ace. Jace held onto the bundles and kept leading ace through the house.
Ace finds nothimg else through the house
Jace led Ace back outside. He gave the bundles to the lead officer. "Found by Ace, under the bed." He told the officer. Jace retrieved a tug of war toy from his car. He unhooked Ace's leash and held the toy in front of his face.
Ace lunges for the toy happily, holding on with all his weight
Jace smiled shaking the toy. He pulled hard on the toy, trying to see if Ace would let go.
Ace holds on, giving a couple play growls as he follows the rope
