She falls back into a restless sleep as she usually did

Jace finally drifted back to sleep. He didn't dream which was normal for him.
In the morning, she rises early and she makes dure her room is tidy after making her bed
Jace woke up around 7, after the sun was already up. He went and took a shower. After his shower he got dressed in jeans and a t-shirt and went downstairs.
Liz comes down soon after him "morning" she says with a yawn
Jace smiled, "Good morning, Liz." He went into the kitchen to get some breakfast.
"So any plans for today?" She asks as she sits at the table
"Grocery shopping. Would you like to come?" Jace asked, standing next to the counter.
"Sure" she says with a shtug. Theres really nothing better to do
"Okay." Jace replied with a smile. Suddenly his phone started ringing. He answered it. "Hello?"
((So i have an idea that maybe shes pregnant she just doesn't know yet?))
((Yeah, that sounds cool! You can do that if you want.))Jace listened, a smile slowly appearing on his face. "Yes, Sir. I will come down today." Jace ended the call and set his phone down on the counter.
"What was that about?" She asks as she sets the phone down
"I get to go pick up my K-9 today. We are allowed to pick which dog we want as our partner so we need to go down there today." Jace said with a smile.
"Thats awesome! How soon do we get to go?" She asks, again lighting up in her demeanor
"As soon as you're ready we will leave and we can go get our dog after we go grocery shopping and to the pet store." Jace responded.
She smiles happily "its going to be fun having a dog around the house"
"Yeah. It will be. " Jace smiled brightly.
"And these dogs are still young so they have that extra puppy energy which makes them even more fun." Jace added.
"I thought police dogs were full grown?" She asks as she puts her coat on
"They start training at 8 weeks old and train for about 6 months. So they are about 8 months old when they get paired with their handler. They are a part of the force at that time but their handlers still will have to do some training with them." Jace explained. He slipped on his shoes.
"Awesome. Ive always loved dogs" she says with a smile
"Ready?" Jace asked, grabbing the grocery list off of the fridge.
"Sure am!" She says with a bright smile as she finished lacing up her tennis shoes
Jace smiled and grabbed his keys from the table by the door. He turned off the lights and opened the front door.
He locked the front door and unlocked the car. He hopped in the driver's seat. "Okay, to the pet store first."
"Sounds like a deal" she says with a nod
"Okay." Jace started the car and pulled out of the driveway. He drove to the pet store and found a parking space.
Liz smiles as she watches out the window
He pulled into the parking lot and found a space. Jace parked the car and looked at Liz.
Liz smiles "this is exciting" she says happily
"Yeah and it will only get better." Jace replied with a smile. He opened his door and climbed out of the car.
She gets out and follows him into the pet store
Jace smiled, walking next to her. When they got inside, he looked around the huge pet store.
"Wow...this place is huge!" She says in a voice full of wondee
"Yeah. It is. Come on, this way." He led her to the dog section of the store.
They got to the dog and puppy section, "Okay. We need food, toys and pretty much everything you need for a dog." Jace said with a smile.
"Can i pick out a leash??" She asks with a smile
"You can pick out everything, if you want." Jace told her with a smile.
She smiles "boy or girl?" She asks as she looks at the assortment of leashes
"The dogs I was told that I would get to choose from are all boy German shepherds, so boy." Jace looked around at all the collars and leashes.
"OK" she says simply and she skips over the pink leashes and collars all togeather. She picks out a dark blue collar and a leash to match
"Okay. You sure that is the color you want?" Jace asked. He smiled gently at her.
She looks down and she frowns slightly "there should be a law about having too many choices" she says with a jokeing tone. She looks again just to be sure then she nods "yeah this is definitely the one"
"Okay. Next, I guess we should get a food and water bowl for him, and then toys." Jace smiled, watching Liz.
"We have to get plenty of toys because I have to take some to work with me." Jace walked down the next aisle where there was dog food and bowls.
