Liz heads out to the car with ace

Jace follows her out to the car. He tosses the duffel in the backseat.
She gets in after putting ace in the back seat
Jace hopped in the driver's seat and drove back to the house. He had a faint smile on his face.
Liz watches out the window while he drives
Jace glanced over at her occasionally. After a little while, he pulled into the driveway of their house.
Jace lets her get Ace while he grabs the duffel bag. He would have to make sure all the gear fit Ace properly.
She smiles and takes ace inside "come on buddy" she says with a smile
Jace smiled following them inside. He walked to the living room and set the duffel down on the couch. Jace enjoyed seeing Liz smiling because of Ace.
Liz plays with ace happily. She loved having the playful pup around
Jace watched Liz and Ace play together. He opened the duffel and took all the stuff out.
She looks over at him "guess we better make sure the stuff fits"
Jace nodded. "Yeah." He whistled, "Ace, come." Ace paused for a moment before running over to Jace. Jace knelt and petted Ace. "Good boy. That's a good boy." He looked over the gear.
"Stay." Jace stood up and picked up the vest which was a black bulletproof vest like what Jace wore except for the fact it was for dogs and said 'Police K-9' on the side. Jace knelt in front of Ace and put the vest on him, making sure it fit properly.
Jace grabbed the special leather collar off the couch and fit it on Ace. Jace nodded. The gear fit properly. He took off the leather collar and vest. "Good boy."
Acs barks, wagging his tail and waiting for a treat which he was used to getting after doing good, although the "treat" was usually his favorite toy
"Liz, pet him, get him a treat from the cabinet or play with him. He knows he did good and is waiting for his treat." Jace told her gently. There was two ID cards in the bag. Jace slid one into a small pocket on the vest along with Ace's badge and Jace's handler information. Jace put the other ID card into his wallet. He put everything back into the duffel including a few toys and a box of treats.
Liz smiles "comr here buddy" she says with a smile, holding up the toy he seened to like the most which is the tug of war rope
Jace smiled as Ace ran toward Liz and grabbed the toy. He closed the duffel and picked it up. He put it by the door.
Liz laughs and puts her weight into the rope as ace, even though not full grown, is already a very strong dog and he handles it easily
Jace smiled watching the two of them play together. He enjoying seeing Liz happy.
after a short while ace goes to find his water bowl.Liz watches "we should probably fill his water bowl"
Jace nodded and went into the kitchen. The two bowls were sitting on the counter. He filled one with cold water and set it down on the floor in a corner of the kitchen. He set the food bowl next to it.
Ace gulps down a bit of water thrn he goes to make himself comfy on the couch
Jace smiled and looked at Liz. "You made a good choice." He told her.
Liz smiles and goes over to the tv. "What about a movie?" She says as she looks at the movie selection
"Okay. You pick the movie. Do you want popcorn?" He asked, smiling.
"Mmm...popcorn..." she says, an obvious yes. She frowns as there weren't many movies she knew. She picks a random one and she puts it into the DVD player and she makes herself comfy next to Ace((Ever seen ace of hearts?))
Jace nodded and began making popcorn. He watched her as she looked through the movies. He made a mental note to figure out what movies she liked and get them so that they had a copy. Once the popcorn was done he poured it into a bowl. He sat on the other end of the couch, next to ace who took up the entire middle of the couch. Jace handed the bowl to Liz. ((No. But I know what it's about.)
Liz smiles and pops some popcorn into her mouth. She frowns as to her it has a weird taste. She eats a couple more pieces trying to figure out what the taste is((Ok i was thinking just for drama we could do something like that. And this is her showing some pregnancy signs))
Jace smiled watching the movie, glancing at Liz occasionally. He petted Ace who was sound asleep between the two of them. ((Okay. And yeah I like that idea, we can use it later on.))
After eating a few more pieces, she gets a bad feeling in her stomach and she jumps up and runs to the bathroom, nearly spilling the popcorn. Makes it to the bathroom just in time as ace barks at the sudden disturbance
"Quiet, Ace." Jace said as he stood up. He set the popcorn on the table and paused the movie. He walked to the bathroom to see if Liz was okay.
After throwing up, liz takes a moment to sit and recoverAce gives a soft whine as he lays back and stops barking
Jace knocked quietly on the door. "Are you alright. Liz?" He asked.
"Yeah...im fine" she says softly as she flushes the toilet and opens the door
He moved back from the door. To him, she looked really pale. "You sure?" Jace asked quietly.
"Whats the date on that popcorn? It tasted kind of funny and i just threw up" she says softly
"I just bought it last week." Jace replied. He got the wrapper out of the trash. The popcorn didn't expire for another year and a half.
"Im not sure. It just tasted really off." She says with a shrug as she sits on the couch
"Okay." Jace took a handful of popcorn and tried it. It tasted fine to him. He sat down on the couch and hit play on the movie.
She stops eatting the popcorn and seems fine the rest of the time. The thought of being pregnant had crossed her mind but she tried to shut it out as ace cuddles up to her, seeming to sense theres something off
Jace kept watching the movie, glancing over at Liz every now and then worried about her. He smiled seeing Ace curled up next to her, his head on her lap.
After a short time, liz actually falls asleep. Being kept warm, being comfortable and having nightmares at night seemes to be the perfect recipe to hit the snooze button
Jace kept watching the movie, not noticing that Liz fell asleep. He was still worried about her.
Ace looks at jace but he doesn't move where his head is
After a while, the movie ended. Jace looked outside, the sun was just setting. He put the DvD away and got a blanket from behind the couch. He covered Liz and Ace with the blanket, noticing she was asleep.
