She lets him descide on the kind of dog food

Jace looked at the different brands of dog food and chose one. He grabbed a big bag of it. "You get to choose the bowls, Liz."
Liz smiles and picks out a set of bowls that say "woof!" On them
Jace smiled watching her as she picked out the bowls. He saw different kinds of treats on the shelves next to the dog food. He looked over the boxes and grabbed two boxes of treats, one for home and one for work.
She smiles "im so excited to see the puppie!"
"Well we will get to see him soon. All we have left to get is toys for him." Jace smiled brightly, enjoying seeing Liz look so excited. He began walking toward the aisles of toys.
"I thought you said you already had toys?" Liz asks
"I have a few for at work, but I thought that we might need some at home too." Jace replied.
"Yeah thats true." Liz says and she picks out a few toys
Jace watched her and also picked out a few toys.
She watches as she puts her choices in the cart
Jace put the toys he picked in the cart as well. "Anything else you think we need?"
"Okay." Jace walked with Liz to check out. The cashier scanned all the items and Jace payed with a credit card. "Thank you, sir." He told the cashier as they left the store.
She follows Jace almost like a lost puppy dog. Its the first time she had been out since she was kidnapped
Jace kept glancing at her, smiling faintly. He loaded all the stuff they had bought from the pet store into the trunk.
Jace smiled at her, lifting the dog food and putting it in the trunk. He made sure everything was in the trunk and closed it.
She walks around and she gets in the car
Jace got in the car and started it. "Grocery shopping and then we take everything home and then we go get our puppy." He pulled out of the parking lot.
"Aw we cant go straight to the pup?" She asks in a jokingly upset tone
"Nah. First we need to go grocery shopping unless you want to eat dog food. Secondly, to get to the training facility for the K-9s we pass by the house so we can drop all the stuff off and then go get the puppy." Jace replied, driving to the grocery store.
"I thought it was, I'm glad you agree." He said with a smile.
She smiles as they head to the stire((Wanna skip the grocery store? And go ti when they get home?))
Jace and Liz had dropped off all the stuff they bought and put away the groceries and they were on their way to the K-9 facility.((That okay?)
((Cool beans))Liz watches out the window as the city passes them
A little while later, Jace pulls into a parking space outside of a two story building. He turns off the car and looks at Liz. "Ready to go pick our puppy?" He asked with a smile.
Liz lights up "youre letting me pick?" She asks excitedly. He wouldn't let her pick out his partner in crime fighting would he?
"Yes. I've trained with all of them and they are all good so you should pick which one you want." Jace told her with a smile.
Liz smiles and follows him into the building
There was an officer at the front desk. They hit a button on the desk that unlocked the door for Jace and Liz. "Okay. This way, Liz." Jace led her down a hallway to a large room where the five dogs were playing.
Liz smiles at all of them "aw they are so cute!" She says when she sees them
The dogs were close to being full grown. Jace closed the door behind them. "You can play with them and then pick." Jace told Liz, watching the dogs.
"So youve worked with all of them?" She asks as one of the digs comes up to her "hi there buddy" she says and sje scratches him behind the ears
"Yep. All five that are in here, I've worked with them." Jace told her. He bent and started petting one of the dogs. "Their names should be on the collar that they are wearing."
She looks at the collar of the one she is petting "Ace....hey there ace." She says with a smile. The pup goes and picks up a rope toy, clearly wanting to play tug of war. She smiles and plays with hkm for a bit
Jace smiled watching her play with Ace. "I'll be right back." He told Liz, leaving the room. He went to go talk to another officer to get the gear for their dog.
"You wanna come home with us buddy?" Liz says to him as she waits for jace
Jace came back in a few minutes later with a duffel bag slung over his shoulder. He looked at Liz, "Did you decide which one you want?"
"Ace." She says happily as the playful pup locks her face. She can't help but smile
"Okay." Jace nodded. He smiled watching Ace lick Liz's face. He set the duffel on the ground and opened it making sure he had all the items he needed. That included a vest, harness, and a super long leash.
He double checked making sure he had all of his supplies. After checking, he zipped up the bag. "Ready?" He asked Liz.
"Ready." She says with a nod and she walks over to him. Ace follows her
Jace smiled seeing Ace follow her. He had the collar and leash they bought in his hand. He knelt and slipped the new collar onto ace's neck and took off the old one. He clipped on the leash and handed it to Liz.
Jace took the old collar and hung it on a hook by the door. He opened the door and held it for Liz and Ace.
Liz walks through the door, leading ace along
Jace followed behind her. He smiled watching her with Ace. They left the training facility after Jace filled out the proper paperwork for Ace to be his partner.
