I've decided I will pick the books for my genre as I go. But I've already made a cracking start and finished my first for this challenge. The Road To Ruin
by Bronwyn Stuart. I'm so happy I started this challenge with this book. It was a great historical romance read. 5*. My review

I started my first for this challenge this morning - Romantic Suspense #1 - Storm Clouds by Bronwyn Parry. Not far in but it has grabbed me already!
I started with The Silk Thief by Deborah Challinor ... This is the third and latest in this series and is looking as promising as the previous two :)
Is Bronwyn Parry a good author? I kept running into hers and they look good. I also am REALLY attached to the name Bronwyn thanks to a childhood book. :)
Brenda wrote: "I hope you enjoy it Julie...I haven't read the previous yet, so need to hurry!!!"Oh they are a good riveting read Brenda! :D

I love her work Sarah! I've read all her books - classified as Romantic Suspense, but more suspense than romance:) This one is released on 15th January and I'm going to her launch next weekend on the 10th! I'm really excited about it:)

I have tried to repost them in this post but for some reason the html code isn't working properly and the post comes out jumbled, but if you go back to the first page of the challenge it's there.

Nice way to start off your challenge :)
I started my first book for this challenge last night, A Town Like Alice by Nevil Shute. I hated the first few pages but it has gotten better. Hope to finish by Monday as it's due back at the library!
I've finally got round to choosing some of the books for this (Out of Control) challenge now, (mostly from books I already have so am very happy about that :) and will fill in the gaps during the year:1. Crime
2. Sci Fi
3. Historical
4. Contemporary
5. Suspense
6. Non fiction
7. Literary
8. YA
9. Romance
10.Fantasy
11.Mystery
12. True Crime

Great list there Carolyn - except that [author:Rachel Joyce|5309857] isn't an Australian author so you will need to find another book for contemporary.
Excellent list so far Carolyn...shame about your contemp as Sally says, but there are lots of Aussie contemp authors:)

I knew that - have to blame the heat! I saw it on one of my friends list and thought 'Oh that's a good idea' without even thinking about it. Silly me! Never mind, have replaced it with Barracuda and I'm sure to find other contemps during the year :)

I'm also doing [book:Vodka Doesn't Freeze|3615580] and Promise, along with two by Melina Marchetta.
I'm getting very curious about the Vicki Tyley books.
My list - Laid BackHooray it worked and I've swapped out Dead Heat for Already Dead.

Looks good to me:)
Though I wouldn't call Dead Heat a thriller Kira...classified as romantic suspense, but heavier on the suspense than the romance:)

Ah, but for everything new, something old has to go. Hopefully I can skillfully manage to only get rid of the lousy stuff : ) That would be kind of awesome.

Okay, I'll look at swapping that out at some point. Thanks for the heads up ;)
