"Whats wrong bud?" Sam asksAnnie walks over to her brother from where she had been playing "dont cry..." she says and she gives him a hug
Sam looked at him "benji we talked about this. I thought you were being safe?" She says with a frown
"Haylee. Calm down." Sam says gently. "Have you and Naomi...talked about this at all?" She asks, trying to hint at the consideration of adoption
"Benji. Stop crying." Sam says as she moves over so he can sit on the couch. "Has she told her parents yet?"
"Well that is up to you. But Id like to talk to her. She really should consider adoption." Sam says with a sigh
Sam shrugs "I dont like to punish. We sit. We talk about. We understand the mistake and get on with our lives" sam says. "Do we have any m&m's left?" She asks. She was craving something sweet
Sam smiles and eats a few of the candies.((Skip to when sam talks to naomi?))
"So banji told me you wanted to keep the baby?" Sam asks gently
"Hey...Im not here to yell at you. Ok? I knew thag you and Benj were...involved...and he had promised me you were being safe. But things happen. Im just saying you need to think about what the life of the baby will be like if you keep it." Sam says softly and gently.
"Were you not using protection because yoy weren't supposed to be able to have kids?" Sam asks
"Well its up to you what you do. Have you told your parents yet?"
"Its not going to cause danger to you is it? The pregnancy i mean." Sam asks
"How come youre not supposed to be able to get pregnant? " sam asks
"A small uterus? Are you sure your body will be able to handle a baby?" Sam asks "I'm just looking out for your health. And a broken pelvis would just mean you need a c-section"
((Its only 7 months....theres still another 2 months to go))Sam smiles and cuddles up to haylee
Banji holds her close as they watch a movie in his room
"Someone's tired" banji says with a sweet smileSam smile contently.
Sam smiles "i love you. Youre the best thing in the world." Sam says with a smile as the phone rings
Annie is on the other end of the phone. She had been at sam's parents house riding her horse twister. "Mom? There's something wrong with twister"
Sam listens in"Hes laying in his stall and he wont get up." Annie says. She is near tears because she thinks her parents will be mad
"Is grandpa there?" Sam asks
"Yeah hes in the house" annie says
"Have grandpa get twister up. Ok? We will be there soon." Sam says
Sam drives to the barn. When theu get there she sees her dad walking twister, an older quarter horse gelding, up and down the drive way.
"Its colic. Ive called the vet." Sam's dad saysSam sighs "he wont eat?" Sam asks
After a short time, the vet has come and gone. Twister is laying in his stall and annie refuses to leave him
Sam gives a sullen shrug "he should. Hopefully he will get up and start eattkng again" sam says softly. "Annie honey you should come to the house and get something to eat"
"Ok." Sam says "ill go with" she says with a sigh. She felt bad that Annie might not be able to compete in her next show which was just a couple days away
"Considering hes a boy....no." sam says with a giggle. After a few moments Annie is calling for them. Twister had gotten up
Sam smiles "looks like twister is going to be just fine" she says with a smile as she grabs a feed bucket "let's see uf he will eat"
Twisters steps forward and takes a bite of the grain. "Look at that. Give him a couple days and he'll be the strongest horse out there"
Sam smilesTwo months later, it's Sam's dud date and she is laying on the couch feeling a bit lazy. Her stomach is huge and her hands rest over top of her stomac
Sam smiles watching haylee. She didnt want to get up and get dressed but things had to get done. "Well...guess we better get the day going" sam says with a sigh
Sam laughs. While haylee is gone she feels the urge to go to the bathroom. Afyer she finishes, she is washinv her hands when i weird feeling hits almost like she had peed her pants "haylee! Either I just peed my pants or..."
"Haylee im fine I can walk" sam says with a shake of her head at the wheel chair
"Haylee...I'm going jinto labor. Not into surgery. Please let me walk" sam says as she goes to the closet to get her hospital bag
Sam hands the bag to haylee and they head to the car
After a short drive they reach the hospital
Sam smiles as they go to check in. Sam groans at contractions about every 7 minutes
Sam smiles "now if only I can get dialated enough to get the epidural" she says light heartedly but in all reality theres only so much the pain medication can do
"A few more hours. We don't even have names." Sam says
"I love it." She says with a smile "what do you think of Adric for the other?"
Sam smiles at haylee as the nurse comes in with the epidural kit
The nurse has sam sit up and leanforward slightly to expose her spine and sam takes haylee's hand, squeezing it as the nurse puts the needle in
After a few seconds the nurse injects the medication and then she removes the needle. Sam lets out her breath which she had held "ow...that hurt."

((Lol its all good))"You also gave birth without an epidural." Sam says as the nurse puts a braclet on her wrist that says "fall risk"
