Almost finished with Headliners by Lucy Parker, still plodding along on audio with The Beast by J.R. Ward. Not sure what's next

Read Headliners and Sabrina Bowen’s new book Heartland. I liked both of them but didn’t love them. Heartland jumped up a level near the end.
Then I reread her book The Accidentals which is not exactly a romance but where there is not one word wrong

I did like Headliners but it was fairly easy to put down (unlike Act Like It and Pretty Face). Haven't read Heartland yet but I'm looking forward to it, I loved The Accidentals. I read and loved Rules of Engagement by J.T. Geissinger. May have given up The Beast (I've dropped the series before but all the new releases have me thinking of taking it back up).

I loved The Accidentals, too. Heartland left me satisfied and that definitely affects my ratings. If I dwell on it too long or delay writing my review, I have been known to drop my ratings when I contemplate early upsets. ;-)

I just finished a really good book (an ARC) called Zombie Playlist. I am not normally a horror or zombie apocalypse kind of reader, but this was really good. I'm just about to write my review but it was definitely a 5 star read. I'm not sure if the author has timed it right though, considering Coronavirus... 🤔
