Sophie (drsophie) | 717 comments And the bits we've still got to fill in are:

Cornflour
Dry
Kiwifruit (unless we use Raven's book)
Stomach
Touch

Eldarwen | 5004 comments Sophie wrote: "What do we think about the cover of The Demon Headmaster Strikes Again by Gillian Cross being the colour of a kiwi fruit i.e green and brown bottom half?"

Yeah I think that looks a lot like the interior of a kiwi fruit!

So let's use it for that task :-)

Sophie (drsophie) | 717 comments Yay! 4 left to claim if anyone is interested

message 504: by Kate (new)

Kate (kaaate) | 78 comments I'm currently reading One of Us is Lying (One of Us is Lying, #1) by Karen M. McManus is you think that could count as cornflour? :)

message 505: by Eldarwen (new)

Eldarwen | 5004 comments Yeah, I think that could count for a white cover for cornflour.

Are you enjoying the read?

message 506: by Kate (new)

Kate (kaaate) | 78 comments I love it, can't put it down, plan to finish it tonight! :)

message 507: by Eldarwen (new)

Eldarwen | 5004 comments Awesome! :-)

Are you going to read the second one as well?

message 508: by Kate (new)

Kate (kaaate) | 78 comments My friend's reading the second one and she says its not that good, so I'm not sure yet - I'll see what she says when she finishes it haha

message 509: by Sophie (new)

Sophie (drsophie) | 717 comments I'd be happy with that for cornflour.

Glad you're enjoying it! I really enjoyed it and the 2nd one.

Two more tasks are up for grabs!

Anyone else reading a book that fits?

(We could potentially also move things around if you have a book that fits one of the other words.)

Sophie (drsophie) | 717 comments I've got one that works for both

Raven - thanks for reading that, unfortunately at 81p it's too short to be used for the game.

Sophie (drsophie) | 717 comments Sharon wrote: "Would strawberry kiwi count?"

I suspect no, but I'll let E have the final say.

We can always move The Demon Headmaster Strikes Again by Gillian Cross back to kiwi. Then if you've got something that works for touch we are golden!

We can be creative after all, so...

Would that be a word in the text?

Sophie (drsophie) | 717 comments Hi Dima and Melissa! We're very happy to see you here. From a quick look at your shelves I can see you've both done UNO before so hopefully there won't be any huge surprises. We're working without a planning sheet so completions in the thread please! E and I are about and updating the sheet multiple times a day if it needs it so it's up to date.
Could you please let us know your Uno shelves when you set them up?

Later today I'll make an update based on what we're looking for in March - if you're desperate to know, you should be able to access the spreadsheet from the link in the first few posts of the thread.

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!

As a reminder to everyone: any books finished now will not be counted towards our March hands. Books cannot be banked.

For books to count for our March hands, they need to be finished AFTER this countdown has gone to 0.

Not even a day now until the next step of this challenge :-)

If you haven't finished the book yet, just keep it until tomorrow to finish off then, then we can use it for our March hands. :-)
