I finished this challenge! I updated message 387 and had to add a note. I was not able to get a hold of The List so I substituted it for whatever book was at number 261 on my list at that time- instead I read A Lesson Before Dying by Ernest J. Gaines

Update to message 170 10/10 completedFinished my challenge!
Well, I pretty much gave up on this challenge about three months in -- not that I didn't want to do it, but I decided that I needed to be super-frugal in 2015, so the only books I was reading were library books and books that people gave me. It was just too hard to get the books I needed from the library at the right time :(I did read five of the twelve books I had randomly selected:
The True American: Murder and Mercy in Texas
City of Women
Lawrence in Arabia: War, Deceit, Imperial Folly and the Making of the Modern Middle East
The Everything Store: Jeff Bezos and the Age of Amazon
Life Drawing
I have now finished my challenge with 6/6 after completing The Miniaturist by Jessie BurtonFull list at page 2 message 58
