I made a little randomiser challenge for myself in addition to this official one. Loved the randomiser thing, so used it to pick out 5 books from 1001 list too. It's such a long list so good to have something picked out sometimes fro you to get to those you wouldn't normally pick first :)

I finished the The Tin Drum by Günter Grass. It's justly one of the great books of the 20th century. However, maybe because I don't read the German or maybe because it lost something in unabridged audio, I'm giving it only 4.5 stars. Perhaps I'm wrong there.
