Kristie | 5928 comments Jennifer wrote: "I'm excited to read "The Knife of Never Letting Go" with anyone who wants to join. I've created a separate thread for this discussion:

Jennifer, did you mean to create the discussion thread in the buddy read folder? It's not there currently and would be easier for people to find later for discussion if it was.

message 161: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer | 132 comments Yes, I meant to. I must have done it incorrectly. Could you guide me through the process of creating a thread in the buddy read folder, please?
Thank you!

message 162: by Kristie, Moderator (Retired) (last edited Oct 13, 2020 06:57PM) (new)

Kristie | 5928 comments Sure! You just go into the buddy read folder by clicking on Buddy Reads 2020 above this thread (Link here, just in case: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...) Then, at the top right of that folder it says "new topic". Click on that, follow the instructions, and post. Make sure not to change the listed folder. Let me know if you need any help.

message 163: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer | 132 comments Hi Kristie, I'll try again. Thank you for responding!

ANusha | 12 comments anyone up for buddy reading Ties that Tether with me?

message 167: by STMC (new)

STMC | 12 comments @Nusha - Hello, that novel that you're suggesting seems like a good read. When do you plan on starting Tiers that Tether?

I currently have three books I'm working on for the month of November so far. I'm not sure of how soon I can start, or which format I'll be getting, but I am interested in reading with you. :)

message 168: by ANusha (new)

ANusha | 12 comments @stmc I picked it up today and have read I think 10-20 pages. I also have 2 other books on my list so I can keep this one aside till you are ready to start. Let me know when :-)

message 169: by STMC (new)

STMC | 12 comments @Nusha - That's awesome and I greatly appreciate it! I will surely be in touch once I have the novel and am ready to begin.

message 174: by Surabhi (new)

Surabhi Diwan | 22 comments is anyone interested in reading Mossad? in December?

message 175: by Niya (new)

Niya | 5 comments Hi Melissa, sorry for the late reply. Yeah I’m currently in the middle of a few books that I need to finish first, so I don’t think I’ll manage to read it before December. Hope you enjoy it!

message 176: by Melissa (new)

message 178: by Keely (new)

Keely (kiwifruit192) | 569 comments I tried to read Lolita maybe about 8 years ago. I may be tempted to give it another go now that I am older (and wiser?), but I would have to aquire a copy first.
I'm also working on reading classics, but I tend to listen to them as audiobooks as that somehow helps me focus more on the book.

message 179: by McKenna (new)

McKenna White Anyone interested in reading I’ll Give You the Sun?!

I’m like 10 pages in and just found this thread on buddy reading :)

message 180: by Gerri (new)

Gerri (gerripai) | 1 comments Hi planning for Jan 2021...considering "American Spy" by Lauren Wilkinson.. Anyone interested?

message 181: by Keely (new)

Keely (kiwifruit192) | 569 comments Le Petit, would you mind waiting until January for Lolita? I’ve got several books to finish this month so I’m not sure I will be able to focus on it before January. I’ll get a copy from audible if I need to.

message 182: by Darleen (new)

Darleen | 1 comments McKenna wrote: ***Anyone interested in reading I’ll Give You the Sun?! I’m like 10 pages in and just found this thread on buddy reading :)***

I just looked it up and I'll give it a shot reading it with you. Just let me know.

message 183: by Melissa (new)

Melissa (melissa12345678) | 189 comments does anyone want to start the Virgin River series with me in January?

message 184: by Jennihess25 (new)

Jennihess25 | 4 comments I am currently reading this book, but would love to discuss it still in January.

message 185: by STMC (new)

STMC | 12 comments @Nusha - I began reading Tiers that Tether and I'm really enjoying the slit of two tales from the characters perspective! I've made it to chapter 12 in my audible thus far. I also love how the novel doesn't go too heavy on the romance/ love telling. Let me know where you are, so that I don't spoil anything.

message 186: by STMC (new)

STMC | 12 comments @Gerri - I'll buddy read with you for January. American Spy seems interesting. I have the Audio book.

message 187: by Andrea (new)

Andrea (andreabewley) I would love to start this series in January! Can you and Jennihess25 add another buddy?

Kristie | 5928 comments If you are requesting a buddy read to start in January (or later), please use the new buddy read thread. You can find the new 2021 request thread here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

message 191: by Kristie, Moderator (Retired) (last edited Dec 20, 2020 07:34AM) (new)

Kristie | 5928 comments Nusha & STMC - I started a thread for you to discuss Ties That Tether. I kept it in the 2020 folder, since it seems that you have already started it. You can find it here: Ties that Tether discussion

Kristie | 5928 comments It looks like we may have discussions for Lolita, American Spy, and maybe I'll Give You the Sun in January.

Feel free to start a thread in the 2021 folder if you decide to go ahead with those discussions or let me know if you need some help setting up.
