Are you talking about Cassandra Clare's Clockwork Angel? If so I might be interested.
Jennifer wrote: "Hi! would anyone like to buddy read "The Knife of Never Letting Go" by Patrick Ness?"I'd love to read that book with you!
Hi Heather! That's awesome you'd like to read "The Knife of Never Letting Go" with me! How about we wait a few days and see if anyone else wants to read it with us?!
Jennifer wrote: "I'm excited to read "The Knife of Never Letting Go" with anyone who wants to join. I've created a separate thread for this discussion:https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/......"
Jennifer, did you mean to create the discussion thread in the buddy read folder? It's not there currently and would be easier for people to find later for discussion if it was.
Yes, I meant to. I must have done it incorrectly. Could you guide me through the process of creating a thread in the buddy read folder, please?Thank you!
Sure! You just go into the buddy read folder by clicking on Buddy Reads 2020 above this thread (Link here, just in case: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...) Then, at the top right of that folder it says "new topic". Click on that, follow the instructions, and post. Make sure not to change the listed folder. Let me know if you need any help.
Hi Heather and anyone else interested, here is a separate thread for the Buddy Read "The Knife of Never Letting Go" by Patrick Ness.Start Date: TBD October 2020

@Nusha - Hello, that novel that you're suggesting seems like a good read. When do you plan on starting Tiers that Tether?I currently have three books I'm working on for the month of November so far. I'm not sure of how soon I can start, or which format I'll be getting, but I am interested in reading with you. :)
@stmc I picked it up today and have read I think 10-20 pages. I also have 2 other books on my list so I can keep this one aside till you are ready to start. Let me know when :-)
@Nusha - That's awesome and I greatly appreciate it! I will surely be in touch once I have the novel and am ready to begin.
Hey Melissa ☺️ I was planning on reading The Invisible Life Addie Larue in December. Do you want to read it together?
actually Niya, I have too many books to read starting in December. sorry, spoke too soon :( I was thinking of starting right away. I will buddy read it starting Monday probably. is that too soon for you?
Hi Melissa, sorry for the late reply. Yeah I’m currently in the middle of a few books that I need to finish first, so I don’t think I’ll manage to read it before December. Hope you enjoy it!
I tried to read Lolita maybe about 8 years ago. I may be tempted to give it another go now that I am older (and wiser?), but I would have to aquire a copy first.I'm also working on reading classics, but I tend to listen to them as audiobooks as that somehow helps me focus more on the book.
Anyone interested in reading I’ll Give You the Sun?! I’m like 10 pages in and just found this thread on buddy reading :)
Le Petit, would you mind waiting until January for Lolita? I’ve got several books to finish this month so I’m not sure I will be able to focus on it before January. I’ll get a copy from audible if I need to.

@Nusha - I began reading Tiers that Tether and I'm really enjoying the slit of two tales from the characters perspective! I've made it to chapter 12 in my audible thus far. I also love how the novel doesn't go too heavy on the romance/ love telling. Let me know where you are, so that I don't spoil anything.
@Gerri - I'll buddy read with you for January. American Spy seems interesting. I have the Audio book.
I created a thread for the Virgin River series here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...I also started the new 2021 buddy read section for it. :) So, it is in the 2021 folder if you are looking for it.
If you are requesting a buddy read to start in January (or later), please use the new buddy read thread. You can find the new 2021 request thread here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Nusha & STMC - I started a thread for you to discuss Ties That Tether. I kept it in the 2020 folder, since it seems that you have already started it. You can find it here: Ties that Tether discussion
It looks like we may have discussions for Lolita, American Spy, and maybe I'll Give You the Sun in January. Feel free to start a thread in the 2021 folder if you decide to go ahead with those discussions or let me know if you need some help setting up.
