I have been waiting to read some certain classics for a while. But also, my wife and I have this thing where I will read a book, then we will get and watch the movie based off of it. Today I just ordered the books THE JOY LUCK CLUB by Amy Tan and Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe by Fannie Flagg.

Kristie | 5928 comments Christine, Jim links all his reviews to his posts. Each one says "My Review" at the bottom and those are the links to his reviews.

Travis, that sounds like fun. I enjoy doing that sometimes too. Once of my face-to-face book clubs is doing that this year. We will read Little Women, then get together to discuss and watch the movie. We are planning to watch an older version, not the newest one, but the one with Winona Ryder. I'm sure we'll also have some appropriate snacks.

I read Atlas Shrugged, finished it this year to begin with. I am looking forward to watching the three movies that were made off of it.

Eve Ever since I heard of The Remarkable Retirement of Edna Fisher, I've been sooo excited to read it! I love old people and I really enjoy seeing them represented in books as main characters. I love the idea that Edna is the Chosen One in a fantasy setting. Yes please, turn this trope on its head! And Edna just became available at my library! :D :D :D
