Ice is off my lake and I have seen a goose. Geese are back. It is still March and may snow again. Reading Shadow of the Silk Road

We definitely have no snow left in our yard. I have a few flowers blooming. Allergy season has begun in full force here. We spent last weekend cleaning out our flower beds and building our greenhouse. Preparing the spot for the greenhouse was a lot of work because our yard slopes. This weekend we will be preparing our raised beds, getting the greenhouse organized, and planting. So, another busy, physical weekend. It is supposed to be in the 70s (℉) here this weekend and possibly a little overcast, so at least the weather will be good for it.

HAPPY APRIL EVERYONE!
The other day I saw two adult geese on my lake and in between the adults there were 5 babies and 1 following. Yesterday the family was in my yard. One adult is always watching the area while the others eat or lay down. The babies grow fast.
That's sweet, Leona. It's nice that you'll be able to watch the babies grow.
Hope you enjoyed your Cinco de Mayo, Christine. Did you do anything to celebrate?

I feel like l'm not enjoying any of the books I'm reading. Maybe I'm just not enjoying life? Or maybe I'm just reading the wrong books? I refuse to believe it however.
I hate when that happens, Octavia. Sometimes it's just a book slump or your not in the mood for anything you're reading. I hope it passes soon and you find a book you love.

I got back form a cruise and extra days in Europe and my yard and deck are covered with fallen leaves.
I am looking forward to the fall months.
