When you are reading a suspense, there is likely going to be dead bodies, you know that is coming. The blurb on this book portrayed it as a mystery, which it was, but I certainly was not expecting all the other stuff. You get warnings on television, movies and even music, but never on a book. I would have liked to have known before reading it.

It is 36* and sunny. I saw geese on the lake yesterday so ice is going. I also saw a robin on Tuesday.Have a good month of reading.

"It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade."
- Charles Dickens, Great Expectations
Oh that’s cool Leona and oh that’s cool Leona and oh that’s cool Leona and thanks Leona and great quote Dorothy
I like March. I'm always happy when it arrives because it means spring is on the way. :) I love that quote, Dorothy.
Today is Alexander Graham Bell day, which I didn't know existed. Anyway, he would be amazed at how much his invention has changed from that big, clunky cylinder to the streamlined product with a camera in it that you can put in your pocket and carry around. He would also be amazed at how much some of them cost--LOL.I don't think he'd be amazed at how much people depend on them, though.

For everyone who lives in the US, don't forget to spring your clocks forward this weekend. Ugh! I really wish they would get rid of this outdated method.Have a safe weekend, Everyone!
I already knew that Groovy and lol your funny Groovy lol and I agree with you Groovy and thanks Groovy and lol your funny Kristie lol
YaaaaY!!!! It's almost time to throw off those coats and heavy shoes. Just slip into some nice sandals and go about your day. It's also time to get into those gardens once the frost season has passed. I'm so glad winter is going away I don't know what to do...
From Sunday through Tuesday, I had snow and some rain and some melting. This is the most snow I have had all winter. Because of the melting and rain it is hard to tell but over 10". Ice is forming again on the lake but should melt in a couple of days when it gets warmer. The ducks and geese are swimming with the snow falling on them. Yesterday and today, we have sun and the temp is now at 16*F.Have a good day.
Enjoy the Solar Eclipse, everyone, who will be able to see it. We have our glasses ready and waiting. I just hope it won't be too cloudy.
We have our glasses as well. Unfortunately, it's supposed to be perfectly clear out on the 7th and very cloudy on the 8th. We are hoping for the best as well. Good luck to you, Groovy.
The eclipse was absolutely, AMAZING! It started out very cloudy, but we could see the eclipse through pockets of clouds. Almost to the end, the clouds were gone, so we were able to enjoy the rest of it.I hope everyone else got to enjoy it, too.
Kristie, how was your experience?
It was great, Groovy! It was a lot less cloudy than expected. I used my very fashionable paper glasses with my cell phone to take a pic and it came out pretty good. It sort of looks like a moon. lol
Hope everyone is doing okay. I think it's Earth month. This year, for my part, I'm planting wildflowers, among other plants, in the front and back yard. I hope they flourish.
Kristie, are you going to plant your vegetable garden this year?
Have a safe weekend, Everyone!
I'm not, Groovy. I have my berries and a flower garden this year. The bees loved my flowers last year and we have already seen a few come back this year. We have a lot going on this spring, so I thought my veggie garden would be too much. Although, maybe I'll get a pepper plant from our local nursery. I've never grown one before and I think they're pretty easy. Maybe I'll do that this weekend now that I'm thinking about it. :)
