Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9974 comments Thanks to Patty Mac's review, I also went to http://www.acobas.net/teaching/textbo... and read this powerful little story, Address Unknown by Kathrine Kressmann Taylor. It may be from 1938, but packs a punch today too.

PattyMacDotComma | 3297 comments It's hardly the Definitive Dylan, but this book for kids, Bob Dylan, by Mª Isabel Sánchez Vegara is a good introduction to a unique singer-songwriter and the first musician to win the Nobel Prize for music.

PattyMacDotComma | 3297 comments I love Maggie O'Farrell's books, but this one, about herself, is something else again! I Am, I Am, I Am: Seventeen Brushes with Death is 17 stories from her life, which could have been a lot shorter at least 17 times!

PattyMacDotComma | 3297 comments I recommend this to anyone dealing with anxiety and/or depression - their own, or someone else’s.

Your Own Kind of Girl is Aussie singer and entertainer Clare Bowditch’s raw, often funny, memoir, which includes lots of tips and a good reference list. The cover is one of my favourites!

Absolutely loved reading this, it does tug at the 'ol heartstrings a bit, but a really thought provoking read. I highly recommend it to lovers of a really well contrived and well written book. 👏

marlin1 | 422 comments I haven’t left a review as such, just a comment but I finished Three Hours by Rosamund Lupton Three Hours by Rosamund Lupton yesterday and loved it so much that I’m having a hard time getting started on a new book.
Nearly returned it to the library unread as I’m feeling a little over whelmed with all the books I WANT to read at the moment but so glad I picked it up before bed the other night to check!
