Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9975 comments Well, that was different! From the dark prologue, it was hard to say where In the Name of the Father: Some Vows Aren't Meant to Be Broken. was going. There are plenty of surprises and it is darkly funny in places. This sexy, romantic tale of intrigue is probably best enjoyed by ignoring any plot holes, forgiving Lottie her sometimes-dubious morals and her copious alcohol consumption, embracing the melodrama and just going along for the ride.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9975 comments Even before I heard Michael Robotham talk about his brilliant new book featuring Cyrus Raven and Evie Cormac at Collins Booksellers in Thirroul last November, I wanted to read Good Girl, Bad Girl. But the advantage of being so late to the party reading it is that now, thanks to NetGalley and Hachette Australia, I can, without delay, jump into another dose of this fascinating pair in the sequel, When She Was Good.
