HeatherH's 2020 Reading Challenges
Glad to hear you enjoyed it Heather! I've had this one from the library for a while, and still have not read it 😅
Glad to hear it Heather! I've been waiting on my copy from the library but whenever its ready I have too many things lined up. Might just have to use a credit on the audio if its that good :)

Working on wrapping up

I found an app called Serial Reader that sends you a snippet of classics a day at a time until you finish. Started

So glad to hear you loved More Than We Can Tell. I'm not really a lover of contemporary but I absolutely loved that one too. Brigid is one of my fave authors.
The Ringmaster's Daughter sounds neat! How is it?
Serial reader app also sounds really cool. That's a good way to get through those harder classics.

Ringmaster's Daughter is actually pretty disappoining. Not much circus atmosphere portrayed and the MC is super unlikable. Some interesting side characters but eh.. it's sitting at like 2.75 stars for me as of now (I'm 70%in)

I read a total of 25 books. of those, 20 were audio and 5 were physical reads. I read 8 adult, 1 graphic novel and 16 YA. Ten of those were new to me authors. I finished 4 series (as to what is published at this point), and added 3 new series. They rated as follows:
11 were 5 stars, 7 were 4 stars, 5 were 3 stars and 2 were 2 stars.
Wow Heather what an amazing month!! Go you!!
Also Circe... greek mythology. I need that book, I love greek mythology.

Working on a re-read of the Black Witch Chronicles for the new release next week! Also re-visiting Twilight before the new book in August!

I've been thinking about revisiting the Twilight Saga too! I even have it on hold at the library. Lol.
How'd you like The Last Time I Lied? I read it last year and enjoyed it! Not as much as his first book Final Girls, but it wasn't bad.

Revisiting Twilight all these years later is an experience for sure!

Revising Twilight now should be an unique experience for everyone I think :))
I like the idea of the NASA theme. Quick as in instalove quick?
Lock Every Door is one I'd like to read at some point.
I just can't do it with the revisiting of Twilight. Too afraid that I will truly hate it and don't want to taint that memory.

I somehow liked Twilight when I first read the series but I think I will totally hate it if I were to re-read it 😂 definitely a unique experience for me 😂
Lock Every Door I do recommend, it's thrilling

I got Sager's new book in the Book of the Month club this month and am so excited for it! But I do agree with Teodora in that Lock Every Door is definitely one I'll recommend to people!
I'm one of those people who Twilight was very meh for me the first time and so far seems to be about the same this time. Though maybe more fun since I'm group re-reading it with some friends.
I read Lock Every Door earlier this year and it IS good! I'm also really excited for his new book that's gonna be out pretty soon here!
I was OBSESSED with Twilight back in the day. Reading it now, I know I won't have the same experience and I'll probably be disappointed by it, but I'm just really curious! It's probably been 10 years since I last read it.
