114!! Ok, I feel slightly better haha! Mine will continue to grow I'm sure but maybe if I push I can keep it fairly even with finished vs new series.
Yeah... I counted it like a year ago and have been keeping track since. Can't say I'm proud of that number lol
Too be fair, I read a lot of long series which is a part of the problem

I shy away from long series. it took me YEARS to even read HP because of how many there are lol. The fact that I read the first Dresden Files book knowing there are 15+ and still being written is crazy weird but the author is from my home town and James Marsters narrates the audios and I just have loved him for so long.
I loved Dresden Files and while I am looking forward to the new book, waiting for this long after it was promised so many times has made it lose something for me.
I'm slowly working through Mercedes Lackey's Valdemar books, there are 39 of them in total currently. Saga of Recluce is at 21, Legend of Drizzt (hubby's fave) is at 32 now. So yeah... long long series! Any series under 6 or 7 is normal for me at this point. I am trying to not start anymore massive ones but that seems unlikely to be successful.

Shoot, 3-4 is normal for me. Over five and I'm hesitant but willing. Over ten and I start avoiding hah! My boyfriend has been trying to get me to read some Magic series for 4 years now.. he says it's like 30 ish books. Nope, I'm good! Maybe if I show him how many unfinished series I have he will stop asking >.< (he's also one of those who reads a whole series straight through and it drives him crazy that I don't lol!)
Yeah I can't do the whole series straight thing either. I get sidetracked and/or bored when I do. There are too many pretty shiny books to read! I get it though, series like that are such a commitment! I get through maybe a couple books in them a year. Maybe. You could always try book 1 to humour him and get him to read something you love in return?
Just finished
and absolutely loved it! It's also a series finished - though not one of the 69 on my unfinished shelf (didn't have it added since I was mostly done with it when making the shelf).
Awesome job on finishing another series anyway! I've been wanting to read this series! Last fall I read The Lunar Chronicles and just fell in love! I'm excited to read more books by this author, so it's great to hear that you loved the series!
Hope you love them too! I will say the first book, while still good, did feel like it was dragging a bit at times. But books 2 & 3 are the perfection I expect after loving Lunar Chronicles so much!
Congratulations on finishing so many series! ) I just keep on adding new :DDD Also Renegades and Lunar Chronicles were on my TBR for a while, your reviews make me force reading those earlier :D
I've just had Supernova delivered. I loved Renegades so it's so good to hear the whole series is good. I haven't read Archenemies yet as I was waiting for book 3 to publish in the UK so I could read them together.
@Jess - hoppefully you love the series' as much as I did!@Brittany - thanks!!
@Kayleigh - I think books 2 and 3 really brought it so if you loved Renegades you're in for a good time with the sequels!!
Listened to
. Don't think I'll finish the duology. Not impressed - felt like a bland version of
which I loved. This one was just disappointing.
Well done Heather!! I think I'm about half way through the challenge. I'm currently reading a teaching professional development book for work and as I don't read non-fiction I'm so tempted to add it to my books read for that challenge when I finish it haha. Maybe to my shelves as well so it classes for my challenge. It's still a book read right haha.
You didnt like Warcross? Thats sad to hear. I kept thinking it sounded good.
Congrats again Heather!
It is still a book read Kay so go for it!

Warcross was alright. I think had I never read Ready Player One I would have loved it more but I just really really loved RPO. Plus the narration for Warcross wasn’t great. The reader was super nasal-y and pretty monotone.

Joined a new group - A Million More Pages - and added 3 May challenges and one more yearly challenge!
Brittany wrote: "I have to go check out that group. I've heard good things about their challenges!"Looks like it will be fun! I'm a sucker for challenges hah
Jess wrote: "I've also checked this group out and decided to join. Thank you for the recommendation :D"Welcome!! Someone in another group posted about it and so far it looks like it will be a fun group! Plus I love finding more and more book friends hah
Finished
which is another series that I'm officially current on since the next won't be released until 2021!
I really liked it, not quite as much as the first book but pretty good follow up! I loved the first one and this one kept a pretty good pace with being as good but the resolution in this one just felt a little bit too easy. These are the only two Sanderson books I've read but I'm for sure a fan!
Finished
which was a reread towards completing the series (I only read the first two originally several years back).
Brittany wrote: "The prompts for the Earl dont do that challenge are fabulous!"YES! I was cracking up reading some of them! Saw you joined, will be fun to be doing some of the same challenges!
It sure will! I don't think I'll have much extra time for most of the May ones so I didn't sign up for anything but the series tbr for right now.

May will be interesting as I am off work from the 1st-18th. I do most of my listening at work so curious to see how many I actually get through.
I actually love going to work - its a break from the chaos of home right now. But have some plans to get some deep cleaning done and planting some tomato plants so excited to have time/energy for that.
Completely fair! I'd just like a bit of a break. Most of the time I'm glad I am not off completely.
Planting is fun! Anything other than tomatoes? I'm looking forward to taking over my sisters garden in a few weeks. I like pulling weeds and such.

So found out today they are putting us back on a normal schedule starting Sunday because our county is re-opening Monday. Which means every other dispatcher but me got two weeks off and paid. I don't. Kinda ticked about it honestly.
Participating in three facebook group challenges. Did all my prompt planning in a journal but for tracking purposes on here:Reading Rivalry:
Team Walking Dead
15/16
LitWits:
Team Mario Kart
14/20
Team Genesis

Good luck with your new challenges! And I also love planting. We just started our planting season. Different veggies, berries, several new apple and apricot trees, herbs, beans, roses and other flowers :)
