Yes, ma'am!

We shall call this one the "Look...a squirrel" challenge - so this would be a book that's been on your TBR list the shortest amount of time.If you're like me at all, I cannot tell you how many books I've added because I just HAD to read it right now, then got completely distracted by something else that was brighter and shinier! Time to knock out one of those newly added ones you promised yourself you'd read (whether it's a new release or an old gem you dug up from someone else's list/recommendation) but it somehow just gets shoved in the pile.
We need a month where the theme is OH, BABY?!!I love surprise baby romances and have not read one in a while.

Copying Terrill!
YAY!! I'M IN!! :D Can I choose a theme for October? (my anniversary month, since Terill has my birthday month! :) )
Okay Grey - will you change my title to "More than One Heart on the Line...a single parent romance". My high maintenance self thanks you :-)
Here's my theme:The Name Game! Using the first letter of your first name, pick a title that starts with that letter
or
a book where author's name (first or last) starts with that letter
Can I recommend a topic of trying something new? Select a book from either a genre/trope that you don’t usually read or a new-to-you author.

Yay!! You're November!
Grey (if I can play )😉 I see you still have december open which is perfect for me, my birthday month! Lmk and I'll give you a theme 😁
I was going to say that you had to pick a book with cover that's the color of your birthstone or that had the month of your birth in the title, but then I realized it was leap year, so I decided I liked theme better.
Robin wrote: "Did I get August or did someone beat me to it? If I did I'll steal Renee's birthstone idea!"You've got August...but are you really going to burden us with picking a book the color of a Peridot?? Lol...
And my January book is Freya Barker- Clean Lines. (Is this where I'm supposed to put it, or is it supposed to be added somewhere else??? 🤷 I'm so new here. 😁)

Yes, I was thinking the peridot would simply be green. And April with the diamond or white sapphire would be white.

This is the 2020 Themes challenge. It's three-fold.
First, we need volunteers to pick a month and then come up with a "challenge theme" for each month.
Second, you sign up and pick your book. Dropping the name and title into the correct monthly thread, who knows, maybe you'll inspire a buddy read! (No cheating! Books must be read during the months they're themed for, in order to count)
Third, before the ending of the last day of the month, you report back and let us know the rating you gave it. That's it. Pretty simple, really.
(The last time we did this, we all used our massive TBR piles and made it a rule that this was a TBR challenge...I'm forgoing that rule this time, because-fun! I want this to be fun and not a slog to get through, you know? However, you certainly can stick to that rule, if you want to.)
