I am looking for books that are thrillers where groups of people are stranded or snowed in or something similar. Even if they're bad I always still enjoy them.

Thanks, will add to my to-read list!
The rockabilly werewolf from Mars wrote: "Dead White. 80s horror novel about a snowbound village besieged by clowns. Might be tricky to find, though; I don't think it's in print right now."
Hopefully my library can find it, looks like it's got some nostalgia to it too.
The Mousetrap, it's a play though. As far as I remember Christie has also (first?) written a short story called Three Blind Mice, with the same plot.
Didn't I mention The Shining?Three Blind Mice for Nente's link.
John Dickson Carr's The Hollow Man/The Three Coffins is set in a snowstorm, but it's more of a straight locked-room mystery, not a "thriller." Likewise Murder on the Orient Express.
I haven't read it (yet!), but 1222 seems to fit the bill.

Thanks! I definitely read The Shining although I consider that horror not a thriller, perhaps thriller isn't the right designation? Adding the Agatha Christie and will check out 1222 as well!

I'm reading Go To My Grave right now and loving it. No snow, but a group of people away on vacation being suspicious :) I probably should have broadened my topic request!
1222 by Ann Holt. Train wreck in the snow, passengers take refuge in an unused hotel, murder follows.

This looks good. Added it to my list!

Sleep"Yes, I read this and loved it, exactly the type of book I'm interested in.
Thanks all!
I'm a bit unclear on what constitutes a thriller vs. a mystery, but you might like the classic And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie.
@Gillian:"unclear on what constitutes a thriller vs. a mystery"
As I am not too fond of putting things in a box, I wonder that myself, but my guess is this distinction:
a mystery is slower, also sometimes less bloody, less brutal (although with some of Agatha Christies books you have to wonder).
A page-turner is for me a thriller.
And while you can have a cozy mystery, I think a cozy thriller would be a contradiction in terms.
And just to throw it in, I started The Bat and Snowman after watching the movie The Snowman could not finish both, the first one got 1 star from me, Snowman I wanted to read further until rating it, but did not yet - so count that also as DNF.
Quite sure that Jo Nesbø is not for me (surprised about the hype he gets).

"I have read this one about 30 years ago - ? I should read again!
