I’ve read two books that fit this category. McNally’s Puzzle by Lawrence Sanders. I hadn’t read him before and what a treat. I intend to place more of his books on my “to be read” list. Also, Dear Edward, an excellent read

I was going to read Call Down the Hawk, but I don't think I'll get to it this year. Luckily, I Hate Fairyland, Vol. 3: Good Girl worked for this prompt so I'll use that.

I found this book really interesting. It is set in WWII England and gives an interesting view into life then. It starts out light, gets a little heavy in the middle, but ends happily again. Definitely worth the read.
