Easy choice for me here, I only have one option on my TBR shelves!

Red Queen for me - I have it on the shelf and it satisfies another challenge category too. Don't think I'll get through all the prompts, but there are some fun, challenging ones, so I'm looking forward to it.
Looks like im gonna finally have to finish the Firebird series.A really loved the first one, and even of the second wasnt as amazing, I think i need to finish this series! :D
A Thousand Pieces of You
Ten Thousand Skies Above You
A Million Worlds with You

And the Ocean Was Our Sky"That's a good book. I read it last year for "A Retelling". :)

Allie wrote: "I actually found out the VE Schwab is only 32 now, so she was definitely in her 20s when the first two Shades of Magics books came out! "Oh, yes! Thank you! It's on my to-read list as well :-D

So... where to put the first book?
Do you think the first line is great?
"My name is Rune Saint John."
There's quite a lot of blogs that recommend it. One of them might be your favorite?
I'm pretty sure it passes the Bechdel test.
It was published in June, is that possibly your birth month?
One could say there's a pun in the title, as Rune is the "last son" of the sun court - the last sun?
It has 4.20 rating
You meant to read it 2019, as it still is 2019 :-D
The cover is kind of pink
The title has three words if you count "the" as a word
I read Endurance: A Year in Space, A Lifetime of Discovery for last year's challenge for the prompt about a book set in space. It would work for upside down image on the cover.
The movie tie-in edition of The Gunslinger by Stephen King has an upside-down cityscape on the cover. The series can also work for a few other prompts (author with more than 20 books, made-up languages, great first line) if you like using series to check off multiple prompts.
I've just started reading This Is How You Lose the Time War and really enjoying it so far.
Some other recommendations, particularly for people who like YA books:
I found these two books at my library today for this prompt. I'll probably end up reading both of them..
I couldn't believe it but I found both of these books I like 5 minutes!! Yet on Thursday at the other Library I had spent like 40 minutes looking through books for an upside-down image and couldn't find any.
These are both from the sci-fi area.
This might have the prettiest cover I've ever seen.
I read this for the prompt. The premise was interesting, and the first half was kind of intriguing, but overall, it just left me meh . If you like fantasy, though, this could be for you.
Just finished Deep State by Chris Hauty. the US Capitol upside down on the cover. A Political thriller, okay not great.
Finished The Two Lives of Lydia Bird

Would you consider this an upside down image? I just finished it. I asked my kids and they said no lol The Shadows
I read this one by Susanna Kearsley, whose books I just love. Its a time jump novel telling two stories, and it has ghosts and a little bit of romance.

"Personally, I wouldn't. The hand isn't really upside down. Like if I stood up with my hands at my sides, that's how my hands would be.
Ronja wrote: "Thoughts on this?
"I think shadows and reflections are definitely upside down images. Go for it.
My copy of Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe should work for this prompt, pretty incredible book if you've never read it:
Dana wrote: "I'm thinking one of these, would you argue any don't count?

"in my opinion, The Gloaming or My Hero Academia fit best, Blue maybe/leaning yes, but Autoboyography I wouldn't count- the book isn't really shown upside down to me, but YMMV.
