"I am using this book for this prompt.
It is TBR in November 19, 2019

Harry's Trees by Jon Cohen, but I can't get this edition to come up on the Listopia. All the others have the leaf alone on the cover."Search by ISBN. I had to do that for one of the books I added to the list. Goodreads has the ISBN listed on the book page so you can copy/paste.
The Book of Lies by Brad Meltzer.https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...
The cover shows someone looking at a bunch of books on bookshelves. One book is sticking out. All you can see are the books' spines, but of course it's okay if you can't see the entire book. If the cover of a book was printed on the cover of your book, you wouldn't be able to see the pages or the back. So don't worry about seeing only part of a book on your book's cover.
Bibliophile: An Illustrated Miscellany I read it this year and it's what I'm using to pick most of my books this year!
I just finished reading Weird Things Customers Say in Bookshops. It's hilarious and a really fast read!
I thought I'd have a bunch of options, but I only have two and even then only the spines are showing! So I'm going to go with The Whole Story and Other Stories
Dominance by Will Lavender has many books on the cover. They cover the axe! Good plot point (not a spoiler, it's on the book jacket.)
My movie cover version of The Book Thief fits this. It's been on my shelf since I was in college, so I think it might finally be time...
I might read The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek.
It's inspired by the blue-skinned people of the Kentucky Appalachians. It would also be a good fit for my "a book on a subject you know nothing about" prompt.
I’m reading a fun and inspiring children's book,* Ban This Book by Alan Gratz. My husband is an elementary school media specialist, and it’s one of the reading quiz bowl books his fourth and fifth graders are reading. I was intrigued by the title and read the blurb. "It all started the day Amy Anne Ollinger tried to check out her favorite book in the whole world, From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, from the school library. That’s when Mrs. Jones, the librarian, told her the bad news: her favorite book was banned! All because a classmate’s mom thought the book wasn’t appropriate for kids to read. Amy Anne decides to fight back by starting a secret banned book library out of her locker. But soon things get out of hand, and Amy Anne finds herself on the front line of an unexpected battle over book banning, censorship, and who has the right to decide what she and her fellow students can read. In the end, her only recourse might be to try to beat the book banners at their own game. Because after all, once you ban one book, you can ban them all…”
How could I not read it?
The cover features a locker stacked with books.
*I like to throw a kid’s book or two into the mix every year!

I'll be reading the classic novel
by Ray Bradbury. I've been meaning to read this for a long time and the book perfectly fits this prompt.

"I just finished reading this one for this prompt, and it was great! A SUPER fast read, too, which I wasn't expecting. Short chapters had me flying through it.
So I am currently reading
and I am trying to figure out if the fingers of the gloves are resting on a book or a fancy box on the cover.
Sherry wrote: "So I am currently reading

I was thinking the same thing and it also said her uncle is really into books in the story. I think I am going to use it for this prompt.
i have already done this challenge, could have used both of these books. If you enjoy fantasy these are a great read.
though on this book the cover I have is different and actually has a book on it.
I'm currently on my phone so can't link, but can anyone tell me if the book Words on Fire, if they think the thing the girl is carrying is a book? It's a bit tricky to tell so want a second opinion before I commit to that one!

The Astonishing Color of AfterBy: Emily x. R. Pan
Prompt: a book with a bird on the cover.
This book took me about two weeks to read because it is about a child learning to deal with the death of her mother, never a lighthearted topic. The author’s use of color to describe emotions and actions in the book was unique, fun and refreshing. It was like having an entirely new set of words for various feelings. Great read for a mature young adult but amazing for anyone who has struggled with the death of someone close to them.
I read Matilda
. The book has been in our house for ~20 years and I had never read it, but did see the movie.
