Agree Dorian definitely
Agree

Agree all the way Dorian.Their relationship will develop and evolve beautifully in the next 3 books

Wait, what? Those are two entirely different series! :)

I AM 100% SURE OF MY STAND WHEN I SAY TEAM DORIAN
I think the main reason I like them together is because of how they understand each other. I'm not talking about their flirtations in ToG. I was sort of leaning towards Chaol then but I think that I started completely supporting Dorian when I read that scene in the end of CoM when he finally told Celaena about his magic and the fact that she was the first person he confided in. After reading Heir of Fire and Celaena's past with magic, I realized that there was more to what she felt other than surprise when she realized he was dealing with the same problems too. She probably found a kindred spirit to her fear of it, of herself, of her not being able to do anything about the power she was born with and wanted to be rid of since she was a child. She saw that confused little girl Aelin in him and so she took his hand and gave him the advice to take it "day by day" because that's how she dealt with it too. At the same time there are shackles that come with a crown and I think her accepting herself now as the lost Queen makes them even more right for each other. They both share similar responsibilities and more than anything, feel this strong sense of duty to do what is right and put others before themselves. That is all both of them have done (or at least tried to do) since the beginning. I also feel some sense of fate working behind the scenes, knowing those moments when it all could have started the first time they spoke as kids, or in that Harvest festival he crashed and asked for a dance with her, back when she was still working for Arobynn. Now I'm more sure of this than ever, that she really will come back for him because she knows he needs her.

Maas was asked if a person can have more than one mate and she said yes. :D

Yes! I have hope... Rowan all the way. :D

It seems a lot of people thought he was annoying, though that's not what I saw at all. I think he is just trying to adapt and save everyone and it takes a toll :( Whether he ends up with her or not I hope that he remains a part of the main story. I love his character.

It s..."
Agreed! It’s Chaol adapting – remember he's Captain of the Guard so it wouldn’t say very much about him if he quickly switched his loyalties. But the part at the end of HOF (with the sword in the river) is definitely Chaol! I think the next three books will show a completely different side of him.

I agree. Just because Celaena and Dorian can do a 180 super-fast does not mean everyone can. I think Chaol is the most relatable character. He's a good man, just a man, who just realized he stepped into a huge mess when he didn't know it even existed all around him previously. Yes, he's been wary of the king for some time, but tolerated it for Dorian. He did a lot for Celaena by sending her away, even when it backfired (though it eventually became a very good thing for her and she is grateful for it I'm sure), and I don't think his character was annoying by his struggles. I think Sarah J Maas is showing how someone that is supremely loyal, that is a good, if naive, person...how they adapt. How we would probably adapt if we were in that world. Not everyone gets to be blessed(also cursed, admittedly) with magic or be Fae. Chaol has to do the best with what he can, and it's an overload of information. His best friend and the woman he loves were keeping secrets from him, but he did what he could to save them both. I think there's something to be said for that.
I hope they end up together. I don't know if that will be the case now with Rowan in the picture, but I'd rather have Rowan be a great friend to Celaena, someone who can be understand her without needing to cross into a romantic boundary. And again, I don't think that Celaena really wants to be immortal. She said as much in CoM. I know things have changed with HoF, and she needs to come back and kick ass and take her country back, I get that. But I don't know that she wants to be around for centuries like Rowan. I guess we will see. He Fae senses have not yet locked onto a mate for her, but Rowan said it could take times before it happens. Whether he means that for Chaol or himself I'm not sure. I also wonder if Celaena can sense that kind of mate thing while she is in human form. Just things to consider.
Getting back to what you were saying, though, I think we definitely will see a different side of Chaol now. He's firmly rooted with the uprising now, and waits for Celaena to return. He did a lot to help them throughout the book, even if he wasn't sure where his allegiance would lie, but at the end we know he's with them 100%. Most people seem to think that Chaol won't accept the Fae part of Celaena, but I think it's something he has either come to terms with or will very soon. Again, information overload and since birth he has been told that Fae are evil. It takes time to flip that switch. I hope that they will meet in QoS, and that it will be a happy meeting.

Rowan- Only as a back up though. Unless there is a surprise runner up we have yet to meet.....

Oh gosh, I hope there are no more men! XD I can barely keep track of them all as it is.

Aedian and Celaena don't have anything romantic with each other. It's closer to a brother/sister relationship, and I like it that way.
I like Rowan, but I feel he's more her protector, or guardian. She depends on him, but there's nothing romantic between them, either. Even Sarah J Maas said so.
Chaol, I feel, is un-accepting of Celaena. He loves her, but can never get past the fact that she is both the secret queen of an enemy country and a Fae. In the last book, he sort of does, but I still feel like he isn't a good match. Plus, Celaena did scratch up his face and tell him she hates him and take of her ring, so..
DORIAN is the perfect match. As soon as he un-zombies himself from the king. He has magic, so he sort of understand's what Celaena's going through, and her fears. Also, he hates his father, and is the prince of a country. So it's like when the king dies, he and Celaena will get married and unite the continent together and all will live happily ever after...

Awww I ship Celorian too.The prince and princess.I think Chaol was just a distraction and Celeana needs to save her prince in the next book which i think will make them grow closer.

Dorian and Manon ? Aww, too difficult for me to picture it ! But, that would be a HUGE twist.

meh too fast.. so Chaol or Rowan

Rowan because well, I don't think I need I to explain this.
Aedion because he's the type of guy Aelin deserves. Somebody who will always support and be there for her. Sadly, I don't see this happening.
Who she's probably going to end up with? Rowan or Chaol. I don't hate Chaol, I do like his character. He just needs some MAJOR character development before I can root for him again. And some of the many, many obstacles in their relationship need to be dealt with.

I agree 100% with you

Chaoleana all the way

I am still 500% Chaolena though "^0^

I understand where you are coming from and respect your opinion

Chaol can end up with me. i am completely fine with that! :')

Rowan is caring, and strong enough for her, but what if Celeana will only come second to his previous mate?
I don't knoooww :((
They're both awesome. That's my opinion at least.

Also in Heir of Fire, celeana asked rowan would you hurt someone you love (in reference to the whole she was gonna kill him thing) making me think maybe he's not her soul mate.
I like rowan as her close friend, but i also think he would make a good soul mate for her! we'll see in the next book! because i find it hard to believe that he would leave her, he'll come for her or she'll need his help!

Yes! I agree! And because I also think he would be a great friend, I would not mind if he would not be(come) her soulmate.
Whoever Sarah chooses for Celeana, I think (and hope ofcourse) she'll do her right.

I do to! But i also think Dorian may be the way to go. Because of the collar thing when he gets freed, if he gets freed. He'll be more so on the same wavelength as Celeana in like being broken and going through a ton of shit! He'll be stronger and i think she needs someone who can hold their own. So maybe him? i don't know!
ahhhh this thing stresses me out! :P haha!
